The Habs and Stars have made a huge blockbuster trade. Benn + Regin for Plekanec + Markov + Beaulieu/Tinordi + Bourque/Cole + Kristo/Leblanc. Trade stipulation is that Benn isn't either an 87+ overall or has 5 stars potential. Pending approval.

Report: Edmonton staying put with current roster, will not make any trades before tonight's deadline.

2 serious offer's on Gagner but Edmonton decided to stay put, but both teams kicking tires will be in close contact during the season.

Will be heavy in pursuing a goalie come September 11th, but if prices seem to high at the time, they may just pick up a veteran backup goalie and see how Dubnyk preforms.

Question: How are we handling conditional draft picks that have already been dealt by their respective teams? For example, Toronto owes me a 2013 4th round pick as Matthew Lombardi played at least 60 NHL games last season, but because it's conditional, EA has a habit of not swapping it over in the game (even though the condition has already been met).

Traded Brett Lebda, Robert Slaney, 2013 conditional fourth round pick (if Lombardi plays 60 or more regular-season games over course of 2011-12 and 2012-13 seasons) (?-?) to Predators for Matthew Lombardi, Cody Franson, 2013 conditional fourth round pick (if Lombardi plays less than 60 regular-season games over course of 2011-12 and 2012-13 seasons) (?-?) on 2011-07-03

Trade deadline has been bumped to 12AM instead of 9PM.

For

small.png Colorado Avalanche - /user/92632-coleman26/">Coleman26 [PSN: morphinecolin]

small.png Columbus Blue Jackets – /user/92644-saint-michaels/">Saint Michaels

The deadline is 9PM Sunday. Tomorrow.

This is because they both joined late and haven't had as much time as everyone else to negotiate.
