SevenDays Posted May 2, 2013 Share Posted May 2, 2013 Yeah, camp behind the net, move out very slowly, then that freaking drop pass... Even Hamhuis, he kind of does the same thing, minus the drop pass. The problem is we can't make a proper entry into the zone. We don't have a smooth-skating defenceman that can carry the puck. That's why when we lose the opening face-off, our PP is pretty much done already. If you take a look at the goals we scored on the short stretch when the powerplay was somewhat improving, most goals are: face-off win, quick relay to the D, then huge slapshot from either Garrison or Edler.
