towel-power Posted November 3, 2013 Share Posted November 3, 2013 This week on the Pucks on net podcast, we record from the Pacific Coliseum (home of the WHL's Vancouver Giants and former home of the Vancouver Canucks) and set up shop like a little lemonade stand. John Ashbridge (Giants and Canucks PA Announcer joins us) and tells us the story of how Milan Lucic joined the team. He was missed in the Bantam Draft and volunteered with the team to wear a chicken suit during the games for fan giveaways and what not before asking for a try out. You just gotta love this kid! Then Giants' defenceman and Calgary Flames prospect Brett Kulak sits with us and we do our best not to have a standard hockey interview.
