I'm really hoping virtannen can have a great summer and come into camp in excellent shape and do as well as stecher did last summer. I do want him on this team as I think at his lowest potential he could be a tom Wilson type player. Move up and down the lineup with a physical and scoring presence.
Or at his top potential a Corey perry type player. Just stand in front of the net and bang away till it goes in. Let Bo Baer and godly play the skill game an virtannen just have that excellent net presence.

I would let Burr play his final season out as a Canuck. He is still super effective in the locker room and can still mentor Jake and Bo and Jared...oh wait..

Yes, I would love to have Linden replace Gillis. He is someone who has played the sport, was a Captain, extremely successful, highly intelligent, and good in front of the camera. Compare this to Gillis who is irrational, stubborn, and arrogant.

trade garrison soft, week on the puck terrible first pass and can't hit the net with his slapper and doesn't hit. edler while guilty of poor coverage and a bit enigmatic he can and does hit the net with his shot, Hits hard, clears the crease and makes good first pass not to mention he doesn't serve it up like garrison does when clearing the zone. garrison has been yet another disappointment from florida. to bad everyones got NTC's

Why does everyone want to trade edler so bad? So what the guy is having an off year, so is Burrows.. so is hansen. I do like the idea of getting o'reilly but I would not give up on edler so fast. Would way rather give garrison.

When does Gaudette become a Free Agent? Will he be able to sign with whatever team at the end of this year if he wants? Or how does that work?
