  1. Oh yea he really got exposed good last time he played vs AV....

MAN DID LUONGO GET EXPOSED... OR WHAT?!?

ohhhh my lord we wouldn't want a repeat of that.... AV completelllly exposed luongo. That game was soooooooo embarrassing for luongo. He sure got EXPOSED.

Luongo will never beat AVs team in his career because AV would just EXPOSE HIM....

PLEASE DEAR LORD DONT LET LUONGO START VS AV... we all know what happened last game. God... if luongo starts I might as well not watch. Luongo can't handle AV ... surely AV exposes luongo .... LIKE HE DID LAST GAME.

AVs team exposed him in 41 different ways.... what happened that game did luongo let in all 41 shots??? He must have for u to make such a smart and witty comment.

Damn luongo couldn't even stop 1 of those 41 shots... rangers won 41-5??

AV was the first star of the game right???

LUONGO SUCKS! LUONGO ESPECIALLY SUCKS VS AV AND THE RANGERS!!!!!

(Nothing against AV I loved him and still respect him - no sarcasm in these brackets)

WHERES your SMART ALECK face today???
  2. after giving this a lot of thought. why doesn't Lu just admit he cost us this game.

Every player showed up but with that being said Edler Kesler & Bieksa made A mistake but also did soooooo many things right all night. I watched LA make mistakes all night but Scrivens bailed them out over & over. I'm not saying Lu has played bad at all but last night he let in STOPS HE HAS TO MAKE. It's called game saving saves when your team played FANTASTIC all night long......

  3. D.Sedin - Kesler - Burrows

    Booth - H.Sedin - Kassian

    Higgins - Santorelli - Hansen

    Weise - Richardson - Sestito

    1st PP - D.Sedin - Kesler - H.Sedin with Garrison & Edler

    2nd PP - Booth - Santorelli - Burrows

If we want scoring depth than something like this needs to be done on a regular basis so they can gel properly.

    One line scoring doesn't work.

  4. Assuming they play how we know they can, Danny-Kes-Burr seems similar to either of Bostons top lines. With health I could see point totals around 85-70-55, then Booth(40ish)-Hank(85)-Kass/Santo(30/40). Would free up our 3rd liners to actually play the third line. Swap that around however you want but bottom line is we could have some secondary scoring, add in a top PP and one of the highest scoring bluelines..... you got yourself a stew. A 2nd liner brought in would make it better as well which is still a possibility.

    That's what I'm thinking too.
  5. Your entitled to your opinion but I don't know how anyone could justify kess as a 1st line center. I don't see him as being part of a "good scoring line" because he doesn't use his linemates well.

ok then Switch my 1st & 2nd lines around I have no problem with that & actually see both lines playing equal time (eventually). Like I said who else is better than Kesler on our team as 2nd line centre? So that's why I put Danny & Burr with Kes so he has good support & Hank with Santorelli who he seems to already have some chemistry with & also Hank is our Best Centre which I think can handle guiding Kassian along as well as anyone else on this team. If you put Kes with Santo & Kassian I don't know if that would even be a 2nd line at all.

So that is my reasoning on doing it like I thought but that doesn't mean you can't switch Hank & Kes to re-unite the ONE & only scoring line we seem to have. But at the end of the day you need TWO good scoring lines to be succesful these days.

  6. Most people don't think kess is a great 2nd line center so you put him as our first line center... Love it!!! Lol. It would take the heat off our second line then everyone could start complaining about our 1st line and its lack of production.

It's called spreading out your scoring to create 2 scoring lines as we have all seen that ONE scoring line doesn't cut it in the NHL. Do we have a better centre than Kesler on the team we could use in the top 2 lines? If so how come he's not playing than? all the good teams have TWO Good scoring lines not just one. eg. Boston, L.A. Pittsburgh, SJ, etc.
  7. then all it takes is 1 hit and he is gone for 20-25 games he is a marked man by the nhl and is a very high risk for the reward you get from a player like him he needs to look at Cooke as inspiration to change his game he is a long way from his 2011 playoff form

Why didn't we go after Cooke. He is exactly the Bite Torts wants.
  8. Burrows stays

    Go

    Kesler

Bieksa or Hammer (not because I dislike Hammer but I see Corrado as a Hammer replacement) and Bieksa is tough something we still lack so as much as Hammer is better, Bieksa is less of what we have. Hammer would also get us ALOT

    Kelser and Booth somewhere

    Hammer and Higgins somewhere

That should get us a legitimate second line center who is young and a good winger with size and decent hands.

I agree. We gave away some of our prospects over the years for a Cup run & I'm sure lots of teams would love to add a Hammer or Burrows/Hansen/Higgins type to there team. Let's get some GREAT VALUE for our players so that Bo & Hunter have something to build around.
  9. so their were no rumors no reports and people like you just assume he was sitting in his chair twiddling his thumbs

i know people have a lack of faith in both this team and it's current GM but people need to realize the cost of a top 6 forward and the fact that this team has a very empty prospect cupboard both in fault of the current GM trading away picks for players no longer on this roster and the previous GM for basically throwing away picks drafting pure garbage

It's starting to get clear that we are not a top Cup Contending team anymore. We slowly seem to be on a decline. Maybe it's time to think about trading some of our veterans (+30 yr olds) for some bigger younger prospects that could gel together to form our new core.

Move - Burrows, Hamhuis, Booth, Higgins & or Hansen, etc. (I feel like we have too many of the same type of players even though they are good not sure if that's the right mix)

Keep a new core of - Kesler, Tanev, Corrado, Edler, Kassian, Bo Horvat, Hunter Shinkaruk, Gaunce, Santorelli & THE NEW Guys from trading those veterans which are still very serviceable players & could still fetch some good young talent especially to a Cup contending team willing to pay for our vets.

Also re-sign the Sedins as they are great players to have around while the new blood develops.

    That's my 2 cents worth
