The Future Looks Bright

Best news I have heard in a long time. Good riddance Gillis.

(TN) Chris Johnson to the NY Jets for a 3 rd pick
APRIL FOOLS

As was stated, our prospect pool is one of if not the worst in the league.
MG has done some good, but I would like to see someone else take this team forward for the next few years.
We need an injection of fresh talented smart and bold people running the show. Gillis needs to go.

I can still see the Anaheim Ducks going hard for Vancouver Canucks centre Ryan Kesler this summer. Anaheim has centre Jakob Silfverberg, big winger Devante-Smith Pelly or speedy Emerson Etem, a defenceman like Sami Vatanen or Luca Sbisa and a first-round draft pick to offerRay Shero is a very smart cookie, but were the Pittsburgh Penguins were so focused on trying to get Kesler that they missed out on Islanders defenceman Andrew MacDonald with their big holes on the back end: Kris Letang (minor stroke) and Paul Martin (broken hand) gone. Instead, Philadelphia got MacDonald for two draft picks and the Penguins went for fourth-liner Marcel Goc and a depth scorer, Lee Stempniak.
Trading within the conference sucks, everyone knows that, but Anaheim has some great prospects to dangle, and the rebuild will take time, so ...............

Gillis needs to go back and do what he was good at doing.
Not sure if that was as a player agent or a civilian.
Either or, if Aquilini does not send him packing soon it could be disastrous for the Canucks in the long run.

Callahan flipped? lol

Unless Etem is coming back to Van, I would tell Anaheim what Howie Mandel heard many times over.
No Deal
