So... who off the season-end Van Canucks roster will be eligible to join the Abby Canucks for their playoffs (besides Podz) (without waivers)? Martin, Lockwood, Petan, Dries ... all heading back to Abby? Burroughs? Hunt? ??

At 35, does Edler spend most of the time in the press box? He's still a solid player and with less mins (and easier mins) does it make sense to sit him in the PB. I think they'll want OJ playing top 5 mins, at least.
Agree 100% ... I'd rather see Hamonic, OJ and Tryamkin and one of Rathbone, Rafferty, etc than Edler. Let him get his 100th NHL goal and then retire. Plus, you never know after the expansion draft, etc ... what late salary cap victim / surprise might drop in to JB's lap just like Hamonic did. Edler has been looking REALLY slow this season. Spend the limited cap $$ on renewing Hamonic, not on resigning Edler.

Mmmm .... what about his agent? Parents? (supposed) Friends? What are they telling hm? Kissing his rotund butt ... or talking straight to him? They should ship him off to Gary Roberts' Training Camp about 4-5 weeks before Canucks camp opens. Tough love ! LOL

Da Boyz gotta protect Demko tomorrow! You know the Golden Showers are gonna be messing with him and in his face all game long. I'd put money on one of the LVGKs trying to take a cheap shot run at him.

Say .... I just assumed Goldy was in Russia or went back to Russia after he signed / announced his KHL deal for next year, but I've seen him in several of the video clips backing the "re-start" of Training Camp 2.0 (July 2020) stories. Just old stock video footage from Training Camp 2019-20 or is he here as part of the Utica call-ups for the "Play-ins 2020"???

Say ... just curious .... The Nucks are in Boston getting ready to play the Bruins at the same time as the prelim games for The Beanpot for Northeastern, Harvard, BU and BC. Seems natural that Jimbo and the rest of the braintrust would go scout Rathbone, Madden, etc. And it would be a great opportunity for the Nucks to get all the prospects together to watch the Bruins-Canucks game. Any news of this happening?

Nucks should pay for an English tutor / teacher for him starting today. Squeeze in a 2-3 hours a week for 2 years before he gets here. It will help him to adjust to Vancouver / N. American living immensely and not repeat the Tryamkin mistakes the Nucks made last time.

With Rathbone in the Canucks prospects pool already (and Stetcher, Beiga, etc), and if they don't end up with a top 4 pick after the lotto draw, I hope Benning chooses one of the bigger Cdn D-men (Bouchard, Dobson), not another sub-6 ft D-man in the 1st round. There will be a chance at another decent D prospect with the 2nd round pick.... maybe someone that slips down in the draft (like Lind did last year). Ginning, Miller, maybe Samuelsson ??? Somebody that plays very solid D 1st & offence 2nd.
I hoping / wishing / praying that Rathbone develops a la Gaudette and is NHL ready for the 2020 / 21 season.

Anyway way we can send him to Utica for a couple of weeks of shock therapy? Allowed in his contract? Would he have to go through waivers? (no one would claim him cuz of his contract 6$$$$$)

Personally, I was hoping for Glass, but this guy ticks the "skills" boxes. What ever happened to JB's "European skill with North American heart"?
Does he have "it"?
Ask me in 5 years.
