    Brain dead canadian politicians.

Go to any grocery store or shopping mall and it looks like the concourse of a stadium.

    Makes ZERO sense.

Canadian politicians and health and safety "experts" dealing with covid is just like refs and the dops.  No consistency.

    Just how Canada likes it

^ this needs to be put on the news. 100% agreed.

  2. Lately I've been wondering a lot about Miller's possible role on the team; can be play Washington's TJ Oshie type role?

TJ Oshie / JT Miller: essentially someone who has grit/size, has good play hounding ability, good net-front presence, good ability to tip pucks, and good play-making ability. Personally I think Miller makes his presence felt even more, since he's got a good 25 pounds and 2 inches on Oshie; also quite young. After today's game I'm tremendously excited for Miller's future with us :)

Fits in perfectly with an Ovi / Boeser and Backstrom / Pettersson line. I think we might have a Washington-esque first line; that's definitely something to get excited about.

If he doesn’t get going it would not surprise me to see Ferland a healthy scratch as a wake up call. He needs to put his name on a game and so far he’s faded barely visible out there compared to many of our other forwards. As much as we made fun of Leivo tonight at least we talked about him his game earned him something worth talking about. I have nothing to contribute on Ferlands game I’m not even sure how many times I heard an announcer say his name during the game.

I think a healthy scratch is going tad far; he played well last few games where he is allegedly healthy, so I am leaning towards chalking up his first 2 games to illness

Who gives a rats ass if you can spell, Childish is the only word that comes to mind . Spelling does not make you a lesser person or your input to the post or blog less valuable.

Anyone who points out bad grammar spelling or poor structural content. Is a cyber bully or very insecure.

With that attitude we cannot allow you to continue discussing Canucks prospects, in order to avoid the risk of bad grammar limiting their development ;)

With EP the main issue is not with spelling/grammar, but pronunciation!

The man himself said "PEE-TER-son" but everybody in Sweden does call him "PETT-ER-son"... (the latter seems more authentically Swedish).

It's the first name that I have issue with people mispronouncing; it's "Eh-Lee-Us" not "Ee-Lie-Us". :)

BRUHHH. This forum can't figure out the right way to spell a player's name.....you want to pile on and add pronunciation to the tasks at hand? You overestimate us ;)

What about pronunciation? I have serious worries that Benning might be setting our guys back. Gadjovich had an injury plagued season after the whole Yonah/Jonah thing. And it’s taken Guillaume Brisebois several years to recover from JB’s butchering of his name at the draft (and several times since). ;)

I guess the conclusion is that the Canucks and all of our prospects are totally f$cked ;)

An epic battle is happening of how to spell cat or something. Lol. Somehow grammar is related to the development of Hughes as a hockey player. The last couple pages had me in stitches.

Bruhhh don't you know that spelling a players name correctly has a profound impact on their development? ;););)

Why would one bother to read the content if the poster won't even spell a name right? In the real world, if one of the people I supervise submitted a document to me and there were spelling errors, it would just go back to them without me reviewing it. If they continued to show they cannot spell correctly, I would assign them some more mundane work. A person has no credibility when they can't even spell correctly. Simple concept.

If it was a one off then fine. But you do it on purpose to annoy people and then you say it was auto correct or some other weird excuse.

Anyway, this is just my opinion. I have no idea what you posted other than the wrong name again.

My god are you a monkey

Not sure if anyone has already mentioned this.... but we should make it a thing where every time Woo lights someone up with a solid hit or just hits someone in general, the fans in the stands should should "Woo!!". Could be something cool for us Canucks fans to have like we did with Luu'ing Luongo

    Love it!

I really believe Juolevi will come to camp and surprise some people..We must remember this minor injury has stopped some of his core training? with this in mind he might have to start season in Utica and after 20 games he will be ready to come play in Vancouver...

I think that won't be a huge impact at the end of the day.

And he has too much skill not to outplay the likes of Biega, Hutton (might surprise), MDZ, etc

Their styles are actually quite complementary.   I do get a kick about how many seem to have forgotten how good Juolevi is.   I am looking forward to him showing what he showed last year during his first taste of pro hockey.   He certainly looked NHL ready during the playoff run and was a dominant player on some nights and rose to the occasion of top pairing minutes, PK and and PP time.

Absolutely! I think players who dominate cerebrally and are good skaters have the highest chance of breaking into the NHL!

Oli and Hughes are just that

Hughes is going to be OJs best friend lol

Hughes loves the heat,  and Juolevi can just play his game.

Dude i can legitimately see those 2 playing 3rd pairing and on PP1 this coming season! 30 points each is not unrealistic

He is probably our most interesting prospect going into camp. One should expect him to make the team considering where he was picked and his career path so far has been good. But the team is loaded with defensemen and I doubt we see any trades before camp.

Really pulling for him to push his way onto the team next year even if its not at training camp. Trade Del Zotto and let him play.

I love that idea. Honestly for how highly Oli was drafted and how much skill and brains he has, I would expect him to come to this training camp and fight to take his NHL spot away from everyone else competing against him.
