  1. I am in the states, and have ESPN+ and subscribe to Centerice  through my cable provider. ESPN+ didn't always show ALL the games. Especially

Canadian teams, and the quality was choppy quite often. Centerice would be my preferred suggestion. But gamecenter is the NHL's streaming platform, I may try that as I watch only around 5/200 of my cable channels.

Kane was probably already priced out of Edmonton. Also rumblings of his contract might be reinstated and be back in SJ. If not he plays a nice heavy game and on the right salary he could be a good option for us on a team that seems to be and play very small.

Those aren't rumblings. His case is going to an arbitration hearing to see if SJ terminated his contract under the proper conditions. But the arbitrator isn't available untill July after FA begins. He could conceivably sign somewhere on July 1st, and have to go back to SJ after.

Even Drance says he's a good defensive forward.

My favorite part is when he says the only way Vancouver can shed Holtby is if they sweeten the deal for SEA with assets and/or retention. And a couple minutes later, it's all about how the Kraken could load up on goalies. Due to the interest in Holtby they may want to pick him and flip him.

Hawryluk was put on off-season LTIR.  To maximize that relief they had to come as close as possible to 82.3M (81.5 + Hawryluk’s 800K cap hit) before putting him on LTIR to get back under 81.5M.  Once they were under 81.5M Ferland then went on in-season LTIR.

Soon as I saw the lists I thought: "Has to do with getting the most out of the cap somehow, but whatever I'll just wait untill mll explains it."

To be fair, IIRC, DiPietro doesn't require waivers. They can still send him down to Utica at any time.

Perhaps Benning still has a trade in the works for a goalie that cleared waivers yesterday (with NHL experience)...

I can easily see a veteran backup/AHL guy eventually being the 3rd tender. Not to mention, the AHL season is a month away, so give Mikey some NHL pro practice and coaching for 4 weeks. Then let him carry the load in the A.
