Look, on the bright side the Vegas boards are alive with enthusiasm as fading the Canucks is a huge money maker with the sports beters. Not gona lie I made a few bucks my self, if the team is costing you grief at least get back at them with your wallet and bet against Canucks for decent payouts get your money back.

Betting is for suckers, and Vegas can go suck a large fake pyramid.

if we lose again tonight I vote we do a very bland basic GDT for the next Canuck game. Here to talk hockey i scroll down through all the pictures and memes or whatever you kids call it, i just want to talk Canuck hockey...yes you can all hate on me for that

This is a pretty big group. People have different ways of communicating/expressing themselves.
Just scroll past the posts/people you're not interested in, and be glad this forum is here.
Some NHL team pages don't even have a message forum.

I think players should give a shit about seeing their team’s jersey thrown on the ice. It’s hugely disrespectful to the team and every player who has ever worn that jersey. As imac said in an interview this morning, the jersey isn’t just some costume they put on. It means a lot to the players.

It is one of the most effective ways for fans to show their displeasure, but to do it at the start of the season during the home opener? That’s a crappy thing to do.

    Horvat:
    "They deserve to be upset"

    Miller:
"If they wanna spend their money they can do what they want. We need to win."

If anyone going to the game is planning on throwing their jersey on the ice, I’ll gladly take it off your hands instead.

Same goes for your season tickets.

It's the people that spent their hard earned money to pay for those things that deserve to do with them as they wish, not people who want sh!t for free.

Pavelski is a bit of a unicorn. SJS lost its soul when they let him go.

Dunno, just have to agree to disagree, I'll take passion over glacial any day. At least there's a chance you can harness passion.

JT just needs another alpha to keep him in line.

    We're not really disagreeing.
Unless you disagree that we're not disagreeing?
You should just agree that we aren't disagreeing. Then we're both in agreement.

Weird dichotomy these days. Everybody seems so easily offended yet the use of swear words on tv, social media ,even here on cdc  has shot up. as little as 2 years ago posters when getting banned or suspended for fbombs. Now it’s all over.  Not that I give a .uck  or anything :towel:

Funny. I was just on the phone saying the exact same thing to someone.
I've been on this forum since the very beginning and it's gone through a lot of "ups n downs" over that 20-some years.
Almost more than the amount of user accounts I've had to burn through

Bruce Boudreau struggling for the right words in that interview. Probably difficult when you want to let it rip and say more but you can't. He's undeniably in the hot seat now.

    That's the thing.
Not only can he - he should.
There's nothing wrong with being more colourful with your language to try and get out what you need to. Good, or bad.
We all need to speak our minds. If people get offended or whatever so what?

The Wild had just lost 8 of their past 10 games and were clearly out of a playoff spot.  The players interviewed after that incident felt it was well deserved.  That outburst in part helped turn their season around - Fletcher also finally made a move for a goalie.

They were 21st in points percentage and 11th in the West when that practice took place in early January.  They then had the 3rd best record in the remaining games (ppt percentage).  They finished the season 11th in the league (when they were 21st) and 6th in the West (vs 11th).

If he tries that approach with this team right now, the team will crumple like a paper bag.
Except for Miller... Jimothy might punch him in the face and skate off unloading Fsplectives....

    It certainly couldn’t have helped.

Either way we’re relying on a 23 year old to be everything for us on D. That’s not his game.

And somehow it’s been 3 years and we still haven’t found a partner other than Schenn for him? It’s pathetic.

They spent 20 years trying to find the Sedins a proper winger...

    Pushing 10 years for Horvat.....
