He may lead the Canucks but he'll never come close to your record. #Benstiller

Not sure whether to think its a "show me one more time you below here", or a "sorry but we are waiving you even though you deserve to make the team, but here's one more NHL game for now"
I think JB is really trying to make a trade so he can stay.

I wonder if Virtanen will lead the Canucks in takeaways again. Something the eye test people seem to blink during.

I would sit Bo, Petey, Miller, Ferland.
Make all the bubbles play and play lots of minutes. Ferland may want to get a taste tho
Gaud between Goldy and virt. Put em together and watch em squirm!

Please be joking.
It's obviously a jab at all the morons on here who trash him all day and night. They want a guy who is having a good pre season.
Not to mention if i disagree with you I'll get suspended.

Wow Horvat should be traded and Gaudette should take his place! This is the Canucks where we make decisions only off of mistakes.

Megna has 3 goals and 1 assist, maybe we should trade virtanen for him!

Goldy needs to step up like Gaudette.
Regardless, Gaudette challenging Sutter is great to see. Another great pick up by JB.
If Pearson doesnt bobble the puck, you aren't saying that. Not Goldys fault, he made an assist worthy pass.

All of you saying Gaudette is ' for sure utica bound ' are in for a big surprise. The kid has played amazing so far, and if he keeps it up and doesn't slow down, he will have a lock on the opening night roster.
I agree that he has been amazing, but for asset management he needs to go down until a trade is made.

I wonder who the scapegoat will be when Loui is gone?
You haven't figured it out yet? These so called fans have been trashing Goldy and Virt for a month.

If the discussion goes to depth though it sure is starting to feel good having them both.
So is Adam better on the farm or on the wing then.
I agree it's better to have both, asset management tells me Gaudette goes down to start the season and will be back by TDL.

Analogy...Jake's a black lab compared to EP40 who is a border collie or blue healer....Jake waits for instruction and needs someone to tell him compared to EP40 just knows what to do because he has been trained well.

18 goal pace last year wasnt a step? People need to chill on Virtanen, his progress has been steady
But he didn't score enough in preseason yet so we should trade him for a 4th and go with Eriksson.
It's pre season people, plus Virt has had a point per game.

You better go back to the drawing board.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he became an NHL starter. It seems like he has the mental side of the game locked in, been to big moment games, played clutch, while he was in Windsor he was their best player. He’s very athletic which helps him make up for his size, it might take some time at the start of his Pro career because he is going to have to work a little harder than a larger goalie would. If he has a good IQ and really focuses on where he is in the net we could probably see him in the NHL in two years.
Two years? I'll put money against that.

And Miller with Horvat was a treat to watch...think that’s going to be a hard pair to play against - just have to wait and see who else gets the juicy assignments with those two and EP and Boeser...

I am hesitant to move Pearson away from Bo after the chemistry they had but If that line can click I can get behind it. It would make for a top 9 with a lot of options. Rather keep Sven around than the other names rumored to be shopped.
Did you see Pearson with Sutter? They looked great, what a 3rd line.

More of a positioning thing every goalie is taught to stay low, better butterfly, better lateral movement. He should be playing more outside his net, in junior he was probably playing more aggressive and didn’t have to move side to side as fast but now with better skaters he is probably forced to stay in his net more because the lateral movement isn’t there. It’s one of the harder adjustments to make as a goalie
I'd like to see him after a couple years with a top quality goalie coach, but tbh I would be surprised if he became an nhl starter.

Goldobin got into the offensive zone every single time last night. He made multiple great passing plays and was solid defensively.
