    The steakhouse on hastings?

Sorry. More of a question than an answer.  Years ago when I went to school in Van there were a few locations in Burnaby.  Great pizza (the best) featuring lots of cheese. Probably morphed into a steakhouse over time.

It's a prediction by a fan of our team.  Podz has a ceiling of a top line winger, who is a Matt Tkatchuk level.  I choose to predict he reaches that ceiling.  :towel:

That'd be sweet. I'll give you some kudos in 2022. Maybe I'll jump on your bandwagon some day after watching him play a bit (or seeing some numbers put up).

Good for you Trollbooth!  Enjoy your evening!

Thinking Pod was a bigger stronger player than he actually is, is not trolling, it's a mistake I made.

Podz will replace guys like Baer.  It could Pearson he replaces too.  Podz will absolutely be in our top 9 in two years, and he will be a huge upgrade on guys like Baer or Pearson.

I'm not ready to make any judgements on his playing ability just yet.

6'1 at 196lbs is mighty big for a guy that just turned 18.  If he were playing in a Jr league, he would look huge, but he is playing on a team with the average of 27yrs.

Sure is. That's why i was expecting to see someone who looked close to Virtanen in size. In that video he looks 5' 11"  175 lbs. Two inches shorter and 20 lbs lighter than Jake would be my guess.

Except Alf never said that...  "Podz is going to come into our team just when we need him to replace guys like Baer."

    Right. He alluded to it.

Except he's one of the larger players on the ice ...and is always in the mix for puck possession.

    Nice try troll.

    lol.

I've never seen him play before except for a few hilights. I expected to see a robust looking player but the circle was always on the frailest looking guy out there afaiac.  So you think I'm wrong, that's good news. I hope you're right. Maybe the next set of game film will change my opinion.

I was hoping for a Virtanen with hockey sense but first glance shows me a developing Baer as Alf alluded to.
