Quinn is a rookie who is on pace to smash any rookie d man scoring record in club history.

He might finish top 3 in single season points as well.

His accomplishments so far have put him on lists with the names like Bourque, Leetch, Murphy  etc...

Really hard to predict what he will or won't be atm.  We have never had a player like him.  Is he a Leetch, Housely, Coffee like player who tracks up points, but may not defend well, or is he a Scotty Niedemeyer like player who can do it all.

Development and d partners are going to be key in his growth.  I am glad Edler is here to take the harder minutes.

With Tanev likely gone at seasons end, Hughes will be taking on a new D partner.

If Trymakin is following this team like I believe he is, he is going to want to come back.  Especially with a kid like Podz coming over.  IMO it is a likely scenario that he returns before seasons end.

I would love to see a Trymakin Hughes pairing.  If Trymakin can not be a liability with maintaining puck possession, he certainly can defend and protect the net.

Hughes would have a giant with a giant shot, check and reach.  This would give Hughes a lot of room to move.

Keith has Seabrook, Niedemeyer had Steven's and Pronger.

He is on pace to tie Dale Talon for club record for Rookie dmen

way waaaay more so as a scorer than a pest though. He’s found that level of walking the line now where he can be effective where as before his coaches were telling him to tone it down. Hog isn’t at that level and I don’t want to see him at the level where the coaches are telling him to stop.

To the level of the Bruins? We would need to make the finals at least once with this group and have a whole lot of playoff success before we’re even close to the level that the Bruins are now.

It took him 9 years as a pro(1.5 in ahl) before he scored more than a point a game. He was definitely not known as a prolific scorer until the last couple of years.
