Can't wait for Practice 2 on Sept 23rd 2022.  I've had that date circled on my calendar since the end of last season.

Typical canucks forum, everyone's too good for Practice 1.

It's "Do we really need Burrows" all over again.

… says the dude that keeps coming out of nowhereharassing me about stuff from months ago because you are frustrated about being so wrong about it.

(see that is the actual meaning of the word “harass”)

It is a nice day out, shouldn’t you be out enjoying your yacht from your millions in stock market earnings?  GIF by South Park

You might want to slow your roll there sparkie.

Go back and read the thread.  Dude that you are fawning over (unless you are just one of his other accounts) is the one who keeps bringing up lies and insulting nonsense about something from months ago that he is salty about being wrong about.

I don't even know or care who he is, but he regularly keeps bringing up my name out of nowhere in completely unrelated threads I haven't even commented in.... spouting nonsense whinging about me that doesn't actually add any content to the threads.

You might want to go look at the work "harass" in the dictionary.  Words actually have meanings which you don't seem to be aware of.

Also, I think you meant "clique"

... you mean not the butthurt guy who months later is still whinging about being wrong about the Canucks making the playoffs?

I guess I will take being a "salty bot" over that alternative.

Lucky for you you're in the toxic click and can't be banned regardless of how much you harass.

    All the times.

if I post “Canucks unlikely to make the playoffs (10% chance)” one time… and then a month later post and update that the Canucks have a 5% chance of making the playoffs… those are both true.

Sorry math continues to be hard for you.

Don’t spend all your paycheques on scratch off tickets.  Regardless of what you think, it probably isn’t going to end well for you.

    You are one salty bot.

I just really have a lot of respect for what Beagle did here. Anyone that gets a plate in their arm, and is still willing to drop down and block shots like he did deserves our respect.

Good to know you're a fan of getting 10th place in the conference year over year

about what? he was right about a rebuild after he tried to pull of a re-jiggy around the Sedins, which wasn't the right thing to do.

He was right when he was completely against buying a bunch of expensive ufas for the 4th line to rush the retool. At which point he quit.

Check out Dowd and then take a look at Beagle.

    Wups.

Essentially, there is no secret recipe. However, it's clear the rule leniency in the playoffs does benefit larger D-Men as it allows them to play a more physical/obstruction style compared to the regular season.

Assuming effort/care/etc. is equal, I'll take hockey IQ and skill over speed and size.

The secret recipe, a team with complimentary characteristics.

The losing recipe, a bunch of small guys.

    this is so true

I think changing a team culture is much harder then many including the OP think.

We have been Team Sweden since 1978-79

you might have thought we were team Smyl, or Williams or Delorme or McIlhargey, but we had Gradin and others , followed by Sundstrom, then Naslund and the Sedins

The only real break in the Swedish touch, was the Pat Quinn era,

It takes a personality as big as Pat Quinn's to change an identity.

And it is not Gradin's fault that along with being the best player during his time in Vancouver, he has also been the best scout.

But we aren't just team Sweden

we are also team New Shiny Thing

    and Team Moving Goal Posts

    and Team No-Patience

These are recurring problems that have plagued the Canucks from early on
