Heard thru the grapevine that he has been hitting the gym hard and is closer to 195lbs as compared to the 182lbs he was listed.
Size and Speed never hurt anyone...lol

With all these players heading to Abbotsford what does the starting night line up look like?

I was surprised that we didnt see this guy at the Development Camp. I know he is older but Hirose was there and he seems to be in a similar circumstance.
So based on that, I've only seen him skate a few times......to me he looked fine, not a blazer by ay means but he seems like he can keep up. Has anyone seen him live and, if so, how would you describe his skating??

Where does Studnicka start the season? Abbotsford or Vancouver?

13 points in 35 games in SHL and 6 points in 17 games in Allsvenskan.......165 pound perimeter player.......no disrespect but I preferred Connor Lockhart who is a similar player with better touch and more grit. Canucks didn't even sign him......maybe I should stick to my day job and forget my dreams of becoming a GM in the NHL.

Talked to Buffalo friend and he said they were really up on this kid and hated to see him go. Kind of unicorn in that he has size at 6'2 and 190+ but skates and moves like a smaller guy. Really good agility and speed. Also not afraid to drop the gloves as can be seen on hockeyfights.com. I've got high hopes for him and would expect him to be in Abbey top two lines by Christmas

2023-24 Abbotsford Canucks Thread

Looks like another signing with the Big Club and Suter will clearly be the third centre. If we assume that bumps Blueger to the fourth centre there could be a few unexpected faces in Abbotsford.
What are the thoughts as to where Dries, Aman, Studnick start the season? I've got to think there is another trade coming.....too many warm bodies could hurt development down on the farm.
