  1. Thank you Bruce for everything that you did for this team, this city, and the game itself. I'm sorry you were treated so unprofessionally by a crew of incompetents. JR is little more than a collection of senior moments at this stage while Aqualini is a human dumpster fire. Good luck in whatever it is you do next!! You deserve the best of everything.

  2. I think I’m good on this team now. I’ve been watching since two seasons before Linden took the boys on an incredible cup run. Then we had the Messier years, WCE, the Sedin era and now this. Petey won’t re-up in this dumpster fire. If he goes, Hughes and Demko are right behind him and that leaves us what? Mediocre Miller and a soon to be overpaid Kuzmenko?

Aqualini is a worthless business owner and long term strategist. His ability to plan is hampered by his experience in cutting corners and having deep enough pockets to pay his way out of trouble. Only Aqualini could take a product like hockey, in a Canadian market, and drive people away from it - in a city with no other pro sports teams (sorry Lions and Whitecaps.)

So long Vancouver, it’s been kinda nice.

  3. I think they need to take a different approach here. By all means, step up and protect a player like Hoglander, but the retaliation needs to be trying to physically hurt a player like Wheeler. You come after our second liners, we're gonna go after your premiere players. A slash, a high stick, a slew foot... when you aren't big enough to play big, you play dirty.

    Sure does,

good for them to play the system

every team could have done it just like Vancouver did it.
2 mill or 18 mill it’s over the cap.

If the Canucks tried that there’d be a new Luongo rule, and the Canucks would be made an example of for trying to circumvent the cap despite acting within the written rules.

  5. The guys just look like they aren't hungry. Playing games where they do well on paper, but can't finish and as a result can't string together any wins against teams who aren't Ottawa. And those are their good games!! Too many players playing with all the drive and determination of Loui Eriksson. For all intents and purposes this season is a wash. Hopefully some bad contracts can be moved in the offseason, a lottery draft pick can be won, and whomever is tasked with righting the ship is able to do so.
