What a great game! Irish chase down 279 with 4 balls remaining!
Only 3:30 in the morn...
-
Chris Gayle with the double century!...Just Wow!!!
Is anyone up watching UAE vs Ireland?
-
When Dale started complaining to the media about ice time the other night my first thought was that he wanted out. Gillis had to do something and he got very good return for a bum like Weise.

Horvat is a possession beast. He has an excellent opportunity to top out as a 1st line center.
-
3 possibilities for Luongo leaving.
1. Injured
2. Bathroom break
3. Traded!!!!!
Start the rumours!
-
A lot of credit has been thrown to McDavid for that goal but I rather liked the slick finish by Horvat more personally.
-
A wee bit of chemistry on that line....
-
I had it 48-47 Jones. The elbows and kicks did a lot of damage. Alex was a much bigger challenge than anyone expected. Fabulous fight! They both stumbled out of the ring! That was Rocky like.
-
He wasn't a world beater tonight but he did some good things too. He was also more noticeable than Bo and Nik but that isn't saying much tonight. Hopefully we get another good look later this week. I did like his hustle when he drew the hooking call later on and didn't see the lack of speed that has been talked about recently.

Wow, Milos really blew it today. 1st round exit in the Valencia ATP 500 event. Worst part is that he was the only seed left in his half of the draw. Big opportunity blown. Tsonga retired, Tipsarevic retired and Isner had lost in the 2nd round. Milos should have at least gone to the final.
-
A couple of goals from Panama would really help! Still 0-0 at the half.
-
I watched the final. Milos was not nearly as sharp and Kei was terrific. Losing the 1st set tiebreak was a killer. 6-0 in the 3rd was Kei getting adrenilin rush as Milos tired.
-
No worries, mon!

Milos saves another couple of match points tonight enroute to upsetting Andy Murray! He played very, very well tonight. Bonafide Top 10 player in the world when he plays like tonight. Some fantastic tennis. If he pulls it together again in the final he could move up to #12.
-
Raonic played really well tonight against #9 Tipsarevic. He faced off a third set tiebreak match point and served out the match with an Ace. Had 8 Break Point opps and converted 2 compared to Tipsarevic who had ZERO opportunities to break.
An infinitely better outing to the listless sputter he pulled in Bangkok.
On to the Semis vs Murray again.

So India , Australia, South Africa and Pakistan topped the groups and they are clubbed togather for Super 8 - Can someone explain why?
From the 2012 Twenty20 Wiki page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2012_ICC_World_Twenty20
The seedings used are those allocated at the start of the tournament and are not affected by group stage results, with the exception that if a non-seeded team knocks out a seeded team, the non-seeded team inherits the seeding of the knocked-out team.[8] -
Wow, was that a boring couple of matches. Bottom line is Canada is going to win this tie. The college kid Raonic faced was very cool under the circumstances and served extremely well. But his return of serve was poor and he couldn`t handle anything Milos threw at him. Pospisil didn`t play his best either and still beat Van de Merwe. Yeah gotta feel for the South Africans. Their program is in a shambles.
-
And with that, Nadal drops to #4 in the world.
Fed
Joker
Andy
Rafa
Oops...strange how the rankings work sometimes...Rafa remains at #3.
Raonic to #14!
EDIT:NM! I was right the first time. Andy to #3 and Milos to #15.

It's good to see Peliwo win his 2nd junior grand slam and 4 GS final this year. Hopefully that success can translate into a strong ATP career.
-
I'm already looking forward to the Davis Cup tie Vs South Africa next week. Canada should cruise.
-
Federer is in major trouble vs Berdych down 2 sets and a break
-
Murray played fantastic. It will another year or so before Milos can really challenge in these majors.
-
Rallied in the 4th set. Huge 5th set coming up.
-
Very good draw for Milos. Being ranked in the top 16 pays dividends. Worst case scenario if he goes all the way
1st Giraldo
2nd Mathieu
3rd Granollers
4th Murray
QF Tsonga
SF Federer
Final Djokovic
