  1. The new Muse album.

Definitely a step back from Black Holes... I wish they'd loosen up a bit more, like on Supermassive Black Hole. But it's hard to enjoy when they're basically doing rock opera with a stone-cold straight face.

it's weird, but it seems like Matts lyrics are getting less and less sophisticated. the lyrics to Uprising sound like something i could have written when i was 15, after reading 1984.

  2. Unfortunately I was unable to attend that show because I live in Victoria. This sucks, another good show missed. And I'm going to miss U2 as well. I hate Victoria sometimes.

    And I'm listening to Cornerstone.

    hehe, i'm going to U2.

at least you guys got the killers a few months ago, that was a good show.

  3. lately i have been listening to music non stop, there is so much good stuff out there.

    just discovering the arcade fire.

humbug is the best album i have heard in a very long time, i have been listening to that non stop (especially after seeing AM live last week)

muse's new album is decent, some great songs on there (mk ultra, natural selection)

and i have been listening to the strokes non stop as well.

    right now, Razorblade- The Strokes

  4. Stealth, you're generally not an idiot so I won't jump on you, but you should know that global warming is a very incorrect term for the climate change we are undergoing.

    Exactly.

Global warming is a very misused term in the media today.

Technically, the world is not really warming up, it is just having a drastic climate shift, just like it has had many times over the past millions of years.

The only thing I disagree with is that everyone says we humans are responsible for climate change. Why do we always think that we are superior to nature? Just because we live on Earth does not mean we run it, Earth does whatever it wants to do, regardless of what we think.

Sure, we may be speeding up the process, but in the end, everything will right itself, like it always does (and it will have nothing to do with what we do/don't do.)

Just like our overpopulation will eventually be solved...by nature....but I digress.
