So everytime something reminds you of your ex you have a moment? Let it go. Move on.
no, not everytime. it was tonight during the Gold medal game that he scored. Gold medal games are hardly everyday events. It's healthy to vent frustrations.

Time to move on jesus christ. Its like holding onto your ex and crying over them nightly. MOVE ON, WE CANT UNDO IT. Stop being so depressing.
it's not nightly. it just happened, within the hour, so it's topical.

Canucks own Dylan Guenther scores the OT winner giving Team Canada the Gold medal... Player of the game honours.
Wait.
What?
We traded that pick for what? Why on earth would we do that, those contacts were almost done? Arizona should offer a first to get rid of OEL and his contact not the other way around.
When you're a Canucks fan, there's always a grain of salt somewhere that finds an open wound.
Anyways, that was an awesome game

6-1 Blues. Everyone wearing a jersey throws then on the ice.

Players that can't crack Seattle's or Phoenix's line up are probably not going to help us.

2pm or 230 start? because I can't find it

There is only 1 right handed defensemen that should play 82 NHL games.
Schenn and Myers are righties. I think Boudreau might be able to better utilize another natural right hander in Poolman. Dermott can play both sides. That's a decent group to start the season with.

I don't think the defence is going to be that big a problem. Despite the continued frustration that pops up with fans, we have all the elements that make for a well rounded defence core.
Yes it could be improved, but there's no need to panic.

Do we think the country club reference is still from Linden storing his clubs at the Colliseum? That seems like a tremendously dated reference.
Or is it maybe pointing at keeping players like Erxsn and Virtanen and Juolevi on the roster despite putting in zero effort.

Clutterbuck? Did you see some highlights on a VHS tape and think "That's our guy"?

I talked about balls… You didn’t understand that part huh?
If the top man in the company can’t handle the owner he isn’t qualified for the job. It’s very easy.
We’re not talking about an underpaid pizza baker here.
Yikes, your seem really testy (balls joke). My reading comprehension is great. I understood everything you said and disagree. No big deal, the world is filled with different opinions. I just don't think you understand how the hierarchy in a business works.

A GM that let himself be overruled under 8 years doesn't have the balls to be a GM.
That feels like such a sitting on the couch opinion.
Bosses overrule decisions all the time. They get to do that because they own everything.
let's pretend.....
You have a job and your boss tells you what he wants you to do because it's a job and you're his employee. That's life.
It's like you're working at a pizza place and the boss says he wants to use a different mozzarella made in Abbotsford. You suggest to him "I dunno, I don't think that will be as good." The boss tells you that's what he wants and if you don't do it, he'll get someone who will. So you buy the cheese and like you thought, the cheese was greasy and not very good and you had to throw it out and it ended up in court over sexual misconduct allegations.
So you didn't get the right ingredients and the pizza just didn't work out. However, you listened to the boss and that bought you more years of work making millions cooking unsatisfactory pizza.
Now unemployed, you sit next to your pool in your mansion pondering your decisions. You will always wonder how that pizza might have tasted had you been given free range in decision making and not had a boss looking over your shoulder. Your thoughts are interrupted by the alarm on your phone letting you know it's time for your 2pm massage. You polish off your margarita and head inside.

he's going to have the nicest cowboy hat and boots ever..

He was just filler. A player who didn't really help, but didn't really hurt either. He could tread water.
I think we've replaced him with players that might have something beyond that, with hitting / fighting abilities while treading water.

This discussion makes it sound like PK is in front of a buffet with all sorts of on ice choices. I'm thinking he's looking for a serious offer from a decent team at this point. I'm pretty sure Vancouver could call his agent and offer him 1 - 2 million and they would consider it.
However...
He would probably make more as a TV personality from this point on than he would playing.

Many good opinions in this thread. Many others as well...
I bet I've figured it out. This new hockey sweater is just a way to introduce a new mascot, or at least make Johnny Canuck the official mascot.
Fin was ok. Sure enough, he had the West Coast thing down, plus the First Nations angle and was a Killer Whale... all cool... except... it was a corporate logo and that coats the whole thing in weak sauce. Fin is played out at this point.
They will wear the new sweaters a few times and sell a bunch of jerseys and dolls and lunchboxes and foam axes and beard and toque combo sets etc etc. It's just a way better mascot and it's new, so, cha-ching.
or its fake news. lol

Yep which is a very real possibility considering I don’t see them as the top team in the Pacific anymore so they may have to play Edmonton or even a team like Colorado first round.
I get the feeling that Huberdeau has let it be known he plans on testing free agency. I think there's a conditional first in the deal, so I'm guessing that's to cover his exit.
That's good that you can at least see them like that. When I see Calgary, I think Joel Otto kicking the puck in. lol

Scenario
Calgary becomes a bubble team. Treliving pulls the trigger on a trade of Huberdeau and Weegar at the TDL, also trades Mangiapane after realizing he won't re-sign. Obtains 3 additional 1st round picks and some additional assets
Calgary becomes a lottery team with 4 total first round picks in this coming draft and a shot at Bedard.
Calgary officially kicks off their rebuild in monster fashion.
Yuck
That's a best case worst case. lol
Worst case best case is they make the playoffs but get beat early and lose all those players to free agency.

"So when you are open, you let your winger know using your mind. Just concentrate when you're thinking and say "I'm open on the opposite wing." What, you can't speak to eachother using only thoughts?"
Those two had some weird wonder twin telepathic communication. They made passes to eachother that didn't make sense.

If Management sign a new Coach, then we know the Ownership group is interfering
in Canucks Talk

Ownership hired this coach. Bruce was in place before all the new managers. So the topic of this post doesn't really make sense.
