    Why Can't Schroeder be called up by the Canucks this year? Or can he?

    I think its because if he gets called up this year, it would either mean that he would have to be put on waivers next year, being sent down OR His contract would start when he was in the minors.

    I have no idea but I think this is why

    Imagine in maybe two years having scores like Schroeder, Grabner and Hodgson all on our team (maybe even next year)

    Offense(first three lines)

    D. Sedin-Hank-Burrows

    Grabner-Kesler-Raymond

    Bernier-Schroeder-Hodgson

    Scoring power

    (who knows, in a couple of years, we could aqquire a future 2nd or third liner but our top 9 would look nice. Maybe a replacement over Bernier.)

    Burrows? Do We Really Need Him?

    I think that Burrows is a great player except that he cant play nearly as well without Daniel sedin. Once Daniel came back from his injury, Burrows was on fire. I just cant see how Burrows couldn't score thoose beatiful Shorthanded goals when Daniel wasn't in the lineup. Now, even though Daniel isn't on the ice at that time, he's scoring thoose goals.
