  1. We are better then our record, every game minus the one vs Houston, we outplayed the other team.

and vs the union. in my humble opinion, we haven't looked much better than our team last year when we are on the road.

I am getting a little concerned about this year, but I think I am getting attached to much to how they played the game before. I am sure that if they beat Chivas, I will be confident they are making the play-offs, even if Chivas is someone we should beat.

  2. I believe Harris is starting by default. Hassli needs to smarten up and Camilo can only be so effective at his height. Without Hassli, it seems as though when Chiumiento is in, he's been given the green light to attack from wherever to help compensate for Camilo's lack of size. Once Salgado is ready to start, possibly late this season, I think Harris gets benched.

hopefully that is sooner rather than later.

  3. I certainly hope we are better than our record, but I am fearing one thing, and that is that we aren't actually that good, but that the players are able to feed off of the energy of the home crowds. The 3 home games, we have been filled with energy, and seemed like they would run though a brick wall for the fans, whereas both the away games, they have seemed average at best.

If that is true, I am quite worried, but also kinda proud...

  4. so, is Harris the most useless player on the starting XI now?

The media was in love with him for scoring his 2 goals, but they were the easiest of goals. I guess the same could be same about Hassli, but at least he seems dangerous (perhaps for both teams) when he is on the field. I personally think that Harris is the fourth best striker we have right now, that's right, I have seen more from Salgado in his preseason play when he was along side with Harris, then I have seen in every moment of Harris this season.

  5. What round are they projecting this guy?

He's more of a project player isn't he? Could we get him with a 3rd or 4th round pick?

We would have to pick up a 3rd round pick first though.

Where is Chickenman when you need him...?

  6. Viktor Svedberg

    Talent Analysis

A giant with incredible reach. Svedberg is among the very largest players in Swedish hockey today. A two-way defenseman in the Swedish junior league, but likely to develop into a more defensive minded type of player in the future. Skating and mobility is not impressive, but not as bad as someone would expect for a player of his large stature. He has average hockey sense, but decent enough positioning. Plays the body to some extent, but gets penalized a bit too much. A project that could turn out well if he continues to work on his mobility. Pretty active stick.

Heck, if he is available in the later rounds, I think he would be worth the risk

  7. I see Burrows being a lifer here. He took the home town discount so I get the impression he's here for good. He's 28 right now, and will likely play until ~38. That means we have 10 more years of bumping this thread.

can you imagine... that would be epic.

  8. on second thought, I don't know about using a high draft pick on another center. I know it is an important position, and drafting the BPA is normally the best thing to do, but our past 2 first rounders seem pretty good.

maybe we could go for Viktor Svedberg. 6' 9" Dman.

  9. Rödin played 18:22 min tonight. One of his best games this season I think, maybe his best. Missed a breakaway though and took a slashing penalty late in the game. Another notable thing is that the centre talent Calle Järnkrok played 22:14 min for Brynäs. This kid is extremely talented, his compared by some experts here in Sweden to Nicklas Bäckström.

...are we able to draft him?
