This just in Eklund (E420). Canucks have signed Ilya Kovalchuk to 12 year deal which the NHL has approved of.

Mitchell or Bieksa or Salo? hmmm... who should stay?

Mitchell is post concussion, Salo is injured, and poor bieksa is healthy mid aged and ready to play. Move Salo to injured reserve list and trade him when he's healthy, Let Mitchell go, and keep Bieksa. Everything would work out. Sign Bieksa for around 2-2.5mil for 3 years after this season. We need players that can outlast other teams in the playoffs. Mitchell is 35 with a serious post concussion and salo is 34 or 35, and injury prone. Give Bieksa a shot I say!
