I read in the province today he's playing through an injury. I sure hope so bc this is the worst I've seen him play in a long time.

Just not happy with the shot blocking injuries and the horrible scoring issues.
A lot people loved torts in the beggining. I think that California trip everything went down hill now they having trouble beating crap teams let alone good teams. Every team has injuries so that shouldn't be an issue except this pass week I would give the team n coach a past for injuries.

Gotta hand it to them. That's a solid group of starters not playing for them and given how they're playing really shows their depth.

Lol look up the names before you talk. Bruins roll 4 lines that's why they are a good team. I would call Thorton a plug that gets ten minutes. I would take Thorton over sestito in the playoffs. And how can you say bruins have 4 plugs on defence out? Lol

Only goalies I would want in my net over Lu is Lundqvist or Quick. Other than that no one could replace Luo... Schneider has proved nothing and that's why he was traded to once again be a back-up behind a legend.
Another idiot who makes up stuff and doesn't read the news. Wtf wrong with people. That wasn't the reason why Cory was traded. Its weird how lu even knows why he couldnt be ptraded but certain dumb fans are still blind. Anyways we should, even if by no choice, all be behind Lu bc he is the canucks current number 1 goalie whether Lu likes it or not.

Find two things about this 'ranking' funny.
First is the 'can Luongo still do it' slant, while he's clearly every bit as reliable as 'reliable vets'.
Second, where is Schneider? As a sidenote to 'reliable vet' Brodeur? Not even 'on the rise'...

Idiot, brodeurs stats have been declining and he will retire next year why else do you think they gave up 9th pick for Schneider. The media n fans think canucks got robbed in the trade. Does that sound like a side note to you???

i would love to but our bone head GM has saddled everyone with terrible contracts no other team wants and handed out NTCs like it was candy on halloween. we are stuck with pretty much the same team for atlessed 1 more year... and this core that has been around for 7 years needs to learn a new system or play the same crap hockey either way it doesnt look good for next year.

Normally you can't blame the coach but Torts set a lot records for the team last season and they weren't good records. Too many players had off season, he either has the worst luck or his style of play just didn't work well with the majority of the team.
The only players I hear praising him is Hamuis and Tanev. Which shouldn't be a surprise. How many times we see hamuis get first pp unit without producing any points at all?
