I think the problem is that Markstrom wasn't expected to be playing this well. It was supposed to be easy. He has made the goalie situation just a little more interesting.

My grandparents used to bring a box over to our house on Saturdays once a month. They always shopped there. The one at Guildford Mall. They would drive from Mount Lehman.

The girl in the box series by Robert J. Crane. I think it is a 7 book series.

I keep reading that torts couldn't/wouldn't adapt his coaching style to the players. Why can the players not play to a coaches style?

And after the coach is gone get rid of a few overpaid players that were a bigger disappointment than the coach. I think he should stay. I just want to watch a team that comes out to play every game.

No. Not a bit. I like a coach that shows a little more passion. Although to me it seems like the coaching is not the issue.

When they went up by two I said game over...........................then something happened.

The way I picture a team is like a car. If all pieces fit together and work, the car runs and drives. Right now it's like the Canucks are missing 1 major piece to get moving (let's say a drive shaft) and we have 6 tires. Instead of trading a tire to get a drive shaft we keep getting springs and mufflers (important pieces, but pieces we already have) instead of addressing the real problem. All this while our GM (for this example "mechanic") want to keep looking at the car to see what the problem is before making a move, even tho he has known of this problem for years.
This team now is good enough to make playoffs, but I still doubt we will be able to score in playoffs, and this is a problem that hasn't been addressed.
Very good description.

Just had a horrifying thought after reading someone off the radar............................MM...........................chip.

It's not a case of is he a good/not good coach. It was time for a change. This team has not played as expected for some time now. As most of us know the coach(s) are the first to go in most cases.
