  1. If (Quite a big if) he reaches his potential, maybe we have a future first line centre.

    Zhukenov

    Horvat

    McCann

    Cassels

No guarantee all of them pan out/ are here in the future, of course, but that's very nice down the middle.

Edit: Before everyone jumps on me, I'd love for Horvat to become an Toews-type first line centre. But assuming Zhukenov reaches his potential I take the high end skill on the first line and put the defensive star on the second.

  2. I remember hearing the name Lukas Jasek a few months back. Since the extent of my knowledge about the draft didn't really reach past the 3rd/early 4th round, I'm happy we managed to grab Jasek in the 6th. Let's hope pans out, guy seems to have some serious skill. Jasek + Zhukenov have the potential to be real good for us.

  3. Danny - Hank - Kass (work the down-low plays, and all three can feed each other and score)

Jake - Bo - Verb (strong skating line, with two physical guys opening room for Verb the sniper)

Higgins - Bones - Burr (they've been strong as the 2nd line, but all three do better as the 3rd)

Kenins - Richie - Hansen (decent 4th line with physicality)

    As said above, Baertschi.

But also Dorsett because no one is going to take him. And we wouldn't keep Richardson.

If we're really going to go full youth like that with Virtanen, Horvat, and Baertschi, Higgins would have to be moved. Kenins probably sits because not as effective without Horvat & he's not a centre.

    Dank - Hank - Kass

    Baertschi- Horvat - Vrbata

    Virtanen - Bonino - Burrows

    Dorsett-?-Hansen
