  1. Edler, Hansen, Shinkarirk, 2014 1st for Hall.

If I were Edmonton, I would do this, this makes them better in the long run

No thanks, Hall is injury prone. I'd much rather take Eberle, I like his game and character better. He's also a natural RW which fits our needs better. Give up less, get a guy who fits better with the team and could be potential future captain material.

  2. I've gotta commend you, I (any many others) would not have the patience to stay his friend.

I was about to say the same thing. My dentist used to grill me about my faith every time I went (like I was able to talk anyway) and took the opportunity to tell me all about converting, how God brought me to him as a patient so that he could show me how I needed to be saved. Needless to say I didn't stay with that dentist for very long.

  3. Just finished playing Beyond Two Souls, excellent game. I definitely recommend it to anyone who appreciates a great plot in a game, with in-depth character development and all that. I heard that there are apparently a bunch of different ways the game can end as well, which is really cool. The gameplay isn't that good, but it's better than Heavy Rain. I also have a thing for soundtracks in movies and games, and I've gotta say that the soundtrack in this game is absolutely fantastic. Blew me away, IMO one of the best games of the year

  4. Who dat? Who dat? Who dat say dey gonna beat dem Pats?!

Tom Freaking Terrific, what a pass with 5 seconds left. Down go the undefeated Saints!

    Jimmy Graham? 0 catches

Marques Colston? 2 catches for limited yards.

    PatsNation baby

I hate the Pats but that was an incredible game. When Tom threw that interception late in the game I thought it was over. He FINALLY came through when they needed it though. So good.

  5. Why do you say the biker flipped the driver the bird? It may have happened but believe me the most likely scenario is the driver did something (maybe small) but it started the chain reaction. The biker then (over)reacted and then we have this situation.

Oh, it was just an example. We don't know what the driver did or what could've caused the whole situation but from what we can see from the video and the report, the driver did what anyone would and that's protect his family. Again, can't say for sure until full details from the investigation are released but for now, judging from what we do know, I have to say that the bikers were in the wrong.

  6. like something didn't precipitate that action.

Something probably did, but even if someone, say, flips you the bird, still doesn't give you and your little gang the right to attack his vehicle, chase him down, and beat him up. Especially when he was trying to protect his family. I agree that a lot of drivers are total jerks and when you're on a bike or not, if somebody doesn't respect you on the road it would piss anyone off. But it doesn't justify their actions.

  7. The wife of biker Edwin Mieses, Jr., who was run over by the SUV, told reporters outside Roosevelt-St. Luke’s Hospital that her husband was likely paralyzed.

“There’s no hope for his back,” Dayana Meises said. “They crushed his spine, they broke it in two different places, so he will be forever, forever paralyzed.”

She said she wanted people to know the driver wasn’t the only victim. “Everyone wants to blame the bikers for something this man did,” she said.

Go tell the biker he had no business dismounting on a freeway in the first place. idiot.

My thoughts exactly. "The driver wasn't the only victim"? Yeah, we don't know the full details of the case yet but it seems pretty clear that he was trying to protect his family. If I was getting swarmed by 50 cyclists and my wife and toddler were in danger, I would've done the same thing.

  8. He fit in very seemlessly on the 2nd 4th and 1st line throughout the game. Very impressive.

We never saw Cody have this kind of chemistry with anyone on the team this year.

Didn't get knocked off the puck like Cody would in the defensive and offensive zones. His vision is good too, Not CoHo good but still impressive.

His ability to be a good fit through the entire lineup gives us so much flexibility and depth. We can shuffle the lines depending on the kind of team we're facing, and still be solid throughout.
