He's a good coach, but it's time for a change. I'm somewhat surprised to see so many people cheering his departure so vigourously. He's done a lot for this club. It's time to go, but I think he deserves a proper sendoff, not the door hitting him on the way out.

I agree. He was a terrific coach, but his message was getting stale. He will go on to be one of the Canucks all time best coaches.

I'm surprised Newell Brown was fired. He was brought in by Gillis and he hasn't been with the team for as long.

He was fired because our PP was laughably horrible.
