I'm pretty happy with what Gaudette has done so far. I haven't watched him play, but his scoring has been very good. I like that there are multiple reports saying that he has that high end tenacity and a nonstop motor. That should serve him very well.
However, I think projections in terms of his NHL impact have overblown slightly. I'd be very, very happy if he establishes himself as an effect 3C for the Canucks in the future. To me, him turning into a top-6 center doesn't seem impossible, but it does seem unlikely.
Is anyone able to list the projections based on points average of other top college centres in the passed?

I know that its just pre-season and all but can someone update me on his stats so far.

Im not going to pretend that i know anything about this player other then hes a "offensive defenceman" but i feel like the 4th round is where there were some pretty good pick ups that we missed out on. I think Ostap Safin, Popugaev (good risk at this point) and Adam Ruzicka would have been better value picks. Although, we would have been low on defensive picks at that point

When i felt it we werent sure if it was a real earthquake. Weird how the first place i felt an earthquake i just happened to be in richmond for the first time in ages. Worst place to be. It was pretty scary though. Makes you realize how unprepared we are.

Evander Kane was at Republic last sunday. I almost forgot that he had shoulder surgery when i saw him. What bugged me was the way he and his hot girlfriend had the whole upper section of the vip for themselves. Like everyone else had to party below him or something. Seemed kinda smug but looking at his girl made it seem worth it..

i know that Virtanen is supposed to be the fastest chl player going forwards and backwards in his draft but how would you compare him to maybe the last 5 drafts? Do you think he would be Top 5 of all 1st rounders in the last 5 years?

Im not in the group that think new threads on already discussed topics are annoying because i enjoy the discussion but if you want to chime in on whats already been talked about i started this thread not too long ago.
Enjoy! As for me, i really like Virtanen. If we had a 6th pick i wouldn't mind trading down to 10th,picking up a second or something and picking Virtanen. A big guy who has the best shot and skating in the draft thats from Van. Yes Please!!!
