Evergreen is a big thing here in Coquitlam something about it is in the local papers every week - it also looks a little stupid when they have a Evergreen office sitting at Coquitlam St. for no reason right now. The only thing people here are worried about is whether Translink will run the 97 to Lougheed Street after the fact.

The business along Broadway most likely are seeing in the future a repeat of the Cambie Street disaster.

They'd better run something with some frequency. I live in Glenayre between the proposed Burquitlam and Queens stations, the latter being down Snake Hill. Right now, it's a 10-minute walk from where I live to get to a 97 bus stop on Clarke Road. If they build this line and don't have shuttle buses or some other adequate route between Lougheed and Coquitlam Centre, or between Burquitlam and Queens or some longer run, running every 10-15 minutes, it's a 20-minute walk to Burquitlam or Queens. Doesn't help my neighborhood out.
