  1. You should cheer for the Oiler's. At least they have a future.

Do they though? We said that five years ago and still nothing... We've got horvat shinkaruk fox Jensen gaunce Cassels subban corrado Eriksson, our future isn't terrible

  2. Sure...the first point you mentioned was "still manages to have a good team"...have you watched the team for the last 2 playoffs and this season..?...not a good team...sorry.....the second point you mentioned was "Stanley Cup contender for many years"...sorry but when is ONE considered many..?...See how you were wrong on those 2 points..?...

Not in the playoffs but that comes back to the goaltending. We didn't play terrible. In the regular season we dominated and yes I agree that doesnt mean much but it still shows that we could be good. We were a favorite to win the cup 3 years in a row that makes us a cup contender. Sure we only made the cup final once but if we woulda started Schneider we woulda won the cup. So again back to the goaltending.

  3. Everyone needs to calm the f*** down. Like seriously. He makes a move he gets a bunch of shi*, he doesnt make a move and he gets more shi*. You people don't realize that the NHL is nothing like NHL 14, you don't just get star players for scraps. And to you Luongo "fans" there are very few of you who supported him throughout this all. You guys are all bandwagoners and its stupid. People saying how he wasn't treated well here is crazy, he was a god for the first 6 years. Then he choked and people started to turn on him. He's a good goalie but he's not elite. He has accomplished nothing except a gold medal with the most stacked country in the world. He got outplayed by Schneider and Lack and he deserved to be replaced. A year ago we couldn't get shi*all for him and now Gillis gets a great return for him and Gillis sucks now? He got a great goalie prospect and a young big third line center for Luongo, a good goalie who sucks under pressure on a huge awful contract. Gillis doesn't get the credit he deserves. He is under a lot of pressure and still manages to have a good team. We are getting younger and Gillis has been great in his time here. Sure he's made a couple bad moves but they were only bad in hindsight. They made sense at the time. Gillis has done great with what he's been given. He turned this team into Stanley cup contenders for many years. Yes I support Gillis and yes I dislike Luongo but I still think what I said was true. I will say that the only thing Gillis did wrong was how he handled the goalie situation. I love our two goalies now but I loved Schneider. He was a gem. But also he could've gotten way more for him. Thats what pissed me off the most about that is that we had an offer way better and we declined because it was the same division. Who gives a shi*! Everyone needs to chill about Gillis doing nothing at the deadline. What did you want? He trades the whole team? Cmon be realistic. There's my long a$$ rant.

  4. Faith in making the playoffs is one thing (which sure isn't an easy thing at this point), but that's clearly the opposite when you value Edler worth so little as to not be able to get Mantha and Tatar without adding a 1st and a 3rd.

I really don't think we will miss the playoffs. And really? I was undervaluing him to u? I thought I was overvaluing if anything. You realize mantha is one of the best players in the chl right? And that tatar is a top 6 forward? For edler who is bad defensively and good offensively

  5. That's terrible.

Well, lottery and all that. I doubt we fall that far to earn the pick based on standings.

You aren't in too good standings with comments like those.

    It's not that far off.

And I have faith in my team. We will make the playoffs easy. There is no way we will get a top 5 pick unless something crazy happens in the lottery.

I'm not in too good standings by having faith in my team?

  6. lol, that's not what I saw. Gryba was right there. Eller had his eyes on the puck. Gryba was going to hit him anyways and anticipated the pass was going to Eller. Good anticipation, but had Eller not turned to carry the puck, he wouldn't have gotten hit in the head and a powerplay would have been the result, without injury. Diaz would have seen Gryba coming and passed it to Eller anyways. Not cool, either way.

As long as he doesn't do that here, he will be a welcome addition.

Gryba hadn't committed when Diaz made the pass, as soon as he let the pass go gryba committed, eller couldn't really do much. It was terrific anticipation by gryba. Noones fault.
