I know that this Project NU2 is a big thing set up by the organization to refresh the opening of the games and everything, but can we please go back to Where the Streets Have No Name? I was at this game and the opener just didn't have that.. oomph, for lack of a better term (and I voted for the Japandroids too). I went to a game last year and when Streets started playing I got shivers down my neck, it was awesome, I got so pumped up.

I appreciate the effort that's being made to keep things new and entertaining, but Where the Streets Have No Name is so classic and just matches the Canucks. I can't listen to the song without picturing the boys in blue skating out onto the ice. Just my opinion and I know I'm not the only one.

Also, the Beastie Boys and Franz Ferdinand was awesome, but some Nirvana could be tossed in there too.

Project NU2 was great. I submitted a different Japadroids song, but I'm thrilled seeing the team skate out to a Vancouver band's song. Let's test it out in the playoffs, and then decide if we need something else.
