  1. Yea I don’t get this. Why was he opposed to trading 10th for Barrie if he did the Miller trade anyways? Always flip-flopping between rebuilding and wanting to win. He’s never really been set on either and his trades and signings have showcased that. Doesn’t stick to a plan. Seems to just make it up as he goes.
  2. I love the player. It doesn’t mean I want my team paying an unreasonable price for said player. If that’s the case, I like Marner. Let’s give Toronto 5 1st round picks for him lol. See what I mean? It’s okay to like the player but not like the trade value we gave up
  3. Yes. Or if going for a FA dman, do Stralman. He’s the best player out there and will command the least amount of term.
  4. Completely wrong. 1. Most people/homers I’ve interacted with said it’s a fair price for a 2nd liner (what looks to be a lottery pick atm) 2. Nope. I think everyone has acknowledged he’s a good 2nd line player. We just don’t like the value which some people are disagreeing and saying it’s fair :]
  5. Oh, and I had to bump this before I left because I laughed too hard at it ...anyways, we’re all on the same team. For the sake of our team, let’s hope we make the playoffs this year
  6. I agree that I am being aggressive but it’s a 2way road. If others that are pro-JB this trade can look down on others who don’t like it, then it’s fair play to receive it too.
  7. Thank you. I hope you’re ready to be called a “HaTeR” just like me an others who know through common sense we got destroyed in terms of value in this deal. According to the homers who are licking JBs back side, it’s impossible to say he’s good at 1 but bad at the other. Cheers!
  8. You’re* And no, just admitting we overpaid a pretty stupid price being what looks to be a lottery pick. It’s more so people like you who enable our team to keep making horrible value deals like this
  9. You too, thanks for siding with me that his value will only depreciate from here on out as he gets closer and closer to 30 years of age. Our fans are actually dumb lmaoooo
  10. He was actually 24 at the time & was dealt in a package with McDonagh so it’s impossible to tell what the actual value for just him was. And anyways, it proves his value depreciated in 2 years time and will only continue to as he gets older and creeps into his late 30’s.
  11. Just because we paid a certain value (a premium) doesn’t mean another team will if he remains a 50pt scorer. 1.) No team as bad as us in the past 4 years will be stupid enough to give their lottery pick up for Miller who’s a 2nd liner player and not even top line 2.) His value will go down as he gets older. He’s 26 now so even 2 years from now when he’s 28, his value will naturally depreciate. Unless he miraculously becomes some 70 point scorer.
  12. You should see how old Miller was then & know that value depreciates as players get older if you had common sense ...perspective...
  13. I guess some of the Canucks most trusted analysts are just “HaTeRs” too? Right. JB: great talent/scout evaluator, terrible trade evaluator.
