Aw, here I was all excited for Raonic's match. Well then... I shall wait. *Twiddles thumbs*

I think I've seen those yellow-hooded buses around... but the routes I take never have those ones. The worst is the community shuttles -- tiny windows and they travel at a glacial rate, so no wind coming in.

I hate taking the bus in this weather because it's basically a mobile oven. And your skin sticks to the plastic seats... ughh. There's also the occasional fellow commuter who needs to be introduced to deodorants.

Not to mention if people are cold, they can put on as many layers as you want. If they're hot... well, there's a limit to how many layers they can take away before people start looking at them weird. Ice cap in the snow, too.

I agree with you guys. For me, this weather right now is pretty damn perfect where I am. Sunny, but cold with a light breeze. So, I've always enjoyed the dry winter months and the past couple of weeks weren't too bad, either. Anything above 25 starts to suck.

And their "sleeves" that they wear when they drive! Seriously. I have no words for their dedication towards being pale. Maybe that's the secret to Asian skin -- life-long avoidance of UV rays.

Time for the Asian mothers to break out their welder-mask-like visors. I can't believe the place I work at has no A/C... this is going to be torture.

It requires a lot of dedication to wake up at 5am to watch these matches... dedication that I lack, lol. Although, once it gets down to the quarterfinals, I'll definitely make more of an effort. Federer to be against Soderling next, yah?

It'd be interesting to see what the Grand Slam committee will decide on with the Serena Williams incident. The US Open's fines are a joke... On another note, Kim Clijsters wins the Womens final with 7-5, 6-3 sets over Wozniacki. This makes her the first unseeded woman to win US Open, and the first mom since 1980 to a major. Congrats!

The rally at the net in 2nd set, tied 5-5. Here's the shot that set Federer up for the match point. Too bad Djokovic had to lose; if he were playing anyone else, he probably would've went to the finals...

The Federer/Djokovic match? That second-to-last shot from Federer? AMAZING. Also the long rally they had at the net in the 2nd set... exciting match, indeed! On a side note, Serena Williams will be fined $10,000 for verbal abuse and $500 for the racquet incident. In other words, pocket change.

Here's how it went down in its entirety... and at around the 2:00 marker: Tournament Referee: What did she say? Lineswoman: She said 'I'll kill you'. S. Williams: Are you scared? Because I said I would get you? I'm sorry, but there's a lot of people who've said way worse. I said-- I didn't say I would kill you! Are you serious? And if any of you read lips out there, here's the short clip of the actual tirade. Way to steal Clijsters's thunder. But yeah, if Serena Williams came at me with a racquet, I'd run like hell.

Did anyone watch the US Open semi-finals for Clijsters/S. Williams? Williams got a point penalty for verbally abusing a linesman after being called for a foot fault, and that point just happened to be the match point for Clijsters. What a way to lose... Looked like she said something about stuffing an eff-ing tennis ball down her eff-ing throat. Sheesh.
