The Ducks clawed back with two early third period goals from Sbisa and Prucha, but a powerplay goal from Nikolai Zherdev sealed the game for the Jackets late in the third. The third period had a flurry of scoring, opening with Lombari scoring a shorthanded goal 4 seconds into the third period, followed by one by Dustin Penner 1:19 later.
