They had MS Paint in the 16th Century Ottoman Empire? That truly is shocking.

The question was whether maps existed showing the area was called Palestine prior to the British Mandate in 1917. All of those maps, except one, were clearly made using MS Paint in the late 90s. The only exception is the second last one. That is a map of the midwest of the USA. There are 12 towns named Palestine in the USA. There is also a town in Iowa called Sheldahl, which can clearly be seen at the bottom left hand corner of the map.

Well, Palestine is officially a recognized state now by the UN so all of this is just moot point.
