I wrote a script for you to compute the magic numbers last year, just to speed up the process for you: You can get the script here: http://pastebin.com/QCwXHay8 Just paste if from the Raw Paste Data section. All you have to do is copy and paste that as is into the address bar on the standings page (sorted by points): http://www.nhl.com/i...122013&type=LEA If it doesn't work (it should popup with all the magic numbers) then you may need to manually type in the "javascript:" part and paste everything after that in. Paulpro Posted February 8, 2013 Share Posted February 8, 2013 It may not be as useful to you this year as last since you are now using Excel. But it may still be easier since you don't have to enter any numbers to get the magic numbers and can just copy and paste the result. Also I can change the format of the output if you want. Small changes are no problem to make, and when I get time I could probably make larger changes to like filtering by division or conference.
