Whitecaps select Kekutah Manneh and Erik Hurtado 4th and 5th overall. Two speedy forwards, not too sure about that, might have prefered at least one midfielder

I know pretty much nothing about this guy other than what's in the video, and he looks to be a hard working defensive midfielder. nothing wrong with adding young players that have potential.

Why wouldn't he play? Every single game we've played in July has been 3 or 4 days apart. Even if he is dead tired for some reason after a days rest from a non-competitive game, Rochat can easily fill in in the middle and Harvey take the left. The combination of Robson, Koffie, and Davidson in the midfield helping out defensively has probably taken a lot of workload off the defenders. Playing one of the better teams in the league you can really only hope for the best anyways!

Even though a lot of players are leaving, there's no way you can say the team isn't better now than it was at the end of last season. I loved Hassli and I wish there was a place for him, but with emergence of Mattocks and now the signing of Kenny Miller, there was no way the whitecaps could keep Hassli on the bench taking up a designated player spot.

Whitecaps are waiting for clearance from MLS to give him a contract. From what I've read about him he has the skill, but also has his demons.

I hope these recent moves arn't just for the sake of "saving money", and are hopefully being made for something bigger in the (near) future.
