  1. I think you're a smart person, yet here you are still using your views on life to justify acting like a condescending pos. What the hell is wrong with you? I may not agree with your opinion but I don't use that as an excuse to belittle you. Is this going to get more jpgs?
  2. Nah bro, I get what you're saying, it's just that I rarely run into people who subscribe to your line of thinking; It's an interesting perspective (which I disagree with, but you already knew that). The only difference between your smug ass and myself (the close-minded state-lover), is unlike you I don't use my views on life to justify acting like an asshole towards people who have zero impact on my life.
  3. Reposting this response from the Vancouver subreddit, imo it's spot on:
  4. Xbox One tour trucks where equipped with dev kits and IIRC demos from August while IIRC Area One events like the one you went to had the most recent stuff running so that would help explain the disparity in performance.
  5. Holiday weekend in US, last time they aired during that time viewership was low.
  6. Agreed, sad that people are getting their panties in a twist because Xbox didn't kneel down and blow the hardcore market for the 1-hour span that had been allotted for them. For the bajillionth time, the games will be at E3 and it's very close already, the point of unveiling the new console is to show off what's THE new stuff, yes the same thing goes for games but at least that's a given. The PS4 unveiling was only slightly less rigid in that regard. And if anybody thought the leap in graphics would be as astounding as it was from Xbox/PS2 to 360/PS3 you're out to lunch. This generation imo, is more about a leap in what can be done, not what can be seen. Same man, 4 titles? I knew FIFA, NBA, MLB would be there and was really hoping NHL would be last one especially since the NHL devs had neither confirmed nor denied it but nope it's the goddamn UFC.
  7. Eh, it'll level out. Gamers will get what they want at E3 which is just around the corner. This event was more about hyping up the console itself and its shiny new features and I can easily see why that comes off as corny. They're reaching out to everyone so of course the hardcore crowd is going to feel slighted first. However, with that out of the way they can now go to the core audience on their own terms while still pleasing everyone else. Agreed that they should've had SOME gameplay though; we already get enough "in-game footage".
  8. How much more time did Sony get for their conference? I remember it was much more seeing as it wasn't televised hence no need to squeeze into a block.
  9. In case you guys didn't catch it from the talking heads, the game stuff will be more prominent at E3. Excuse them for using the reveal to you know... Reveal the console's brand new features and partnerships amirite lol some people
  10. Nope, I'm on the Xbox Live Event Player and there's only 6 minutes left on the counter. Then again you're on EST right?
  11. For the compass cards; swipe to refill it with one of the 3 options shown.
  12. OK TIME FOR A BUMP, YA DIG? http://www.engadget.com/2013/04/24/microsoft-announces-xbox-event-for-may-21st/?utm_medium=feed&utm_source=Feed_Classic&utm_campaign=Engadget
