Not a big fan of Ron McLean, but I have to give him props for his abilities as a host sometimes. He seems to involve himself greatly in the teams/players he is reporting about. His little offhand quip about Burrows being clutch brought me thinking about this thread immediately. Funny that even McLean is getting a dig at the OP for this epic thread.

I think why Burr has such great chemistry with the Sedin's is a balance of grit and finesse. Way to go on a 30+ goal season Burr!

A player like that wears his heart on his sleeve and dedicates himself every night to the team. This is why we want a player like Burrows. I think this is why he is a team leader and eventually will be captain of the team, if not, an assistant. To bad Auger will have Tonya Harding trying to break Burrows kneecap before that happens.

No substance you say. I guess because the bread has been constantly torched it doesn't hold much together, but like any mess, it can be fun to watch. Sort of like a car crash that you can't turn away from.

This topic should never be locked for many reasons. The biggest for me is the humour that it brings is a positive outlook in the CDC with so many negative comments posted throughout. The other is to remind clutch how wrong he was about Burrows who plays with his heart on his sleeve and does it so effectively. Also, from what I have seen of clutch, he whines constantly about the Canucks and rarely praises them. This is just a reminder that a true fan can complain, but to do in the context that clutch provided, deserves to be flamed over and over and over again. To be more positive, Burrows looked solid in his performance during game 3.
