Slumlord ownership fighting amongst themselves now. If it's two things they're incompetent at it's paying migrate workers thier fair wage and running a hockey team. Just do us all a favor and sell the team. Having incompetent ownership is almost as bad as having no team at all. Forget 'Fire Green/Benning Chants' start a 'Sell the team' chant and start chucking jerseys on the ice - it's now that bad. Players haven't quit on the coach, they quit on ownership. No one knows wtf is going on in that organization now. They're making Melnick look like a Sage

Well another GM job that Gillis didn't get. Pretty safe to say he's not going to get another one in the NHL.

It's funny if I look at the teams that have a chance at the number one pick i think I rather the Wild win it, rather that fanbase get a superstar than a team like Florida. Sure as hell don't want Pittsburgh or Edmonton to win it, maybe Winnipeg. Problem is if the Wild do win it we'll hear about it for a long time.
The reality is this lotto system needs to be changed - you're starting to see some teams stuck at the bottom for a long time, if it weren't for Petey and Hughes I'd think we'd be one of them. A qualifying team shouldn't have a shot at the first overall pick. Whatever, not our problem now I guess lol.

Bush League. The cynic in me says it wont matter how good the Canucks build a championship calibre team the league will just rob them like it's done with so many other teams in the past, Buffalo comes to mind(skate in crease).
Funny thing is Vegas would be the only other team I wanted out besides Toronto but that phantom call last night was horrible.
