Jensen will get a call-up really soon.. itd be foolish to deal a great young player without seeing what hes capable of doing.. he's the hottest player in the AHL right now.. and his 6 PP goals these past cpl months would really help.. itd be like trading grabner again

Garrison cuz hes on the 3rd pairing, and playing on the wrong side.. too rich for that role.. might as well keep stanton there.. take away garrisons shot, and hes an average dman hamhuis cuz we can get an overpayment for him bieksa because of his age and value The base of the deal will likely be a dman for a forward.. Since we'd think Edler is the obvious one out, I say he stays cuz of age and one of those 3 go.. this is assuming doug mclean isnt full of crap although i think trading kesler would be a huge mistake considering we need to add a centre and not drop one, i do find it sketchy that MG didnt include his name with the sedins as the untouchables

In exchange for Edler, forget names like Mantha Tatar Abdelkader and Nyquist.. Here is a more reaslistic 3 player+pick package we could get for Edler: A.) -Frk, Mckinnon and Drouin's memorial cup linemante, still a baby in the AHL -Pulkinnen, NHL ready -Jarnkrok, pretty talented young swede, Detroits good at finding those, a bit weak though -Callahan, Great shot, mean dude, love him.. watch this guy play he's gonna be a stud.. one of my favorite prospects -Nestrasil, never seen him play but apparently solid prospect -Glendenning, seen him play some great games with the wings B.) -Smith/Lashoff/Kindl to immediately replace Edler -Ouellet/Almquist or Sproul/Marchenko. Lefties vs. Righties... If Hamhuis/Garrsion/Stanton/Alberts are healthy, we can go young with one these guys instead of Smith/Lashoff/Kindl C.) -Franzen is the best of the guys whos salary matches Edlers (Weiss , Quincey).. Could fit Sedin line well.. net presence would really help PP.. playing with the twins might spark him n get him back to his playoff dominance D.)-Pick, 1st if its something like Tvrdon+Franzen+1st...2nd/3rd if we get a guy like Sproul.... no pick if we get jurco or sheahan So instead of thinking we can pull off Edler for Mantha+Tatar+1st+2nd, consider one of the other many options.. Theres tons of great youth in that team, and there are plenty of different swaps that could be included..Upgrade, but we'd get older, or downgrade and get younger.. Or some swaps can be made to even salary, or even out the trade *Booth and Tootoo which favors us *Hansen for Eaves which favors them *Schroeder for Emmerton/Ferraro if we wanna get bigger *If we want to get a 3C right now for Schroeder, we can go for Helm or Andersson which will cost us

Keslers going nowhere.. this shouldnt even be a discussion.. We are not rebuilding, and we are not dealing any roster players unless its edler/garrison for top 6 fwd+++, or Hansen part of a package deal.. thats it.. why do so many people want to deal Kes anyway? He's happy here, he has the biggest heart on the team, and he's irreplaceable.. Only time we can deal him is when Horvat and Gaunce are ready.. not NHL ready (probably next year), but ready to log Kesler minutes

Oh boy is CDC gonna cry when they see the actual return on Alex Edler.. Shocked how many ppl think he is in his "prime" just because of his age.. prime age yes, prime game no.. Franzen Mantha 1st 2nd lol.. We think Franzen contract sucks but edler is prime.. Its Manthas fault he is unproven.. a 1st is alllll the way back at 20th Lets take a look at what the deal could look like a few months from now... Edler-A player who has underperformed for years and has 25 mil left on his contract for Franzen-A player in same situation, but fills a needed scoring void and one of the best playoff performers in the game Mantha-Top scoring prospect Deangelo, Mckeown, Honka Lemieux, Watson, Bleackley I understand the whole taking on Franzen's contract to make the deal work,.. but this doesnt mean they have to pay for someone to take him.. he isnt ballard or booth.. otherwise they could just waive him cost-free and watch 10-15 teams put in a claim for him Theres a reason why Edler and Mantha's names are in all of our proposals Cant overvalue our guys so much because you are settin yourself up for disappointment when they finally do get moved for half of what you thought they would, then you scream for the GM's head

Glad you mentioned that.. i noticed it as well in the games ive seen.. i honestly think Domi passes to Horvat the least on purpose.. friends, but a secret jealousy/bitterness... drafted higher, wjc snub, etc. when you are the star your whole life and then someone else is rated higher, u might be a bit of a hater towards him.. kinda like how a backup goalie secretly wants the number 1 to let in 5 goals lol

Too much money invested in the back. Lou Edler Garrison Hamhuis Bieksa is a lot of money.. As much as I love all 4, downgrading from one of those to a Corrado/Stanton quality player gets us a real top 6 fwd, not like the ten 3rd liners we currently have Also, love Kes too much to give up on him at 2nd line. We're losing and ppl are frustrated, so you guys dont really mean that. Come playoffs you'd miss him. But, we do need a makeover there. Would Kes n Sedins work? Kesler to wing and bring in a high end playmaker?
