Send him down to Utica. It's clear he's not ready and his head is not in the game to be in the NHL right now. Bring up a guy like Archibald or Grenier who deserve it.

Embarrassing effort today and Luongo didn't help. People who think this team actually has a shot without any changes being made is seriously kidding themselves. This team is done unless Gillis addresses at least some of the many glaring problems with this team... first move is sending Kassian to Utica to play on the first line and getting rid of Edler for scoring help... that would be a good start.

I agree,, but you could actually send the whole team to Utica today..not just his fault...but he needs to start getting his game together.
He's doing no good on the 4th line when a guy like Archibald or Grenier can come in and make an impact. Kassian playing 1st line minutes in Utica will be good for his development. The team is playing like crap but Kassian has taken two stupid penalties today and has done nothing positive. No need for a guy like that in the lineup... just another Ben Eager at this point.

The guy was chirping him not looking for a fight. That was a good call by the refs and I hope he learns from it. You don't take your gloves off ready to fight without the other guy agreeing to it. Stupid and unnecessary and will get you a penalty every time.

He was backin up a teammate that was a good penalty.
His teammate didn't need "backing up"... and he took a stupid penalty in the process. The 4th line was out, not the Sedins. You don't take your gloves off if the other player doesn't want to fight you. Stupid boneheaded decision by Kassian.

How does Kassian get the only penalty?????
He took off his gloves like an idiot when he didn't need to. He wasn't standing up for anybody, he was just looking for a fight... if it was to protect a Sedin or something i'd be fine with it but it was completely unnecessary. Sestito started it all with a high hit.

He better not. If he's not making the extra saves needed for this team to stay in the game he doesn't deserve to start again. I don't care whose fault the goals were if a goalie lets in 3 goals on as little shots as he's had he needs to take a break. Really hope Lack gets the start tommorow.

Are you not seeing the chemistry between booth and santorelli? Why split that?
Weise has been awesome with them also. That line should never split up. Weise finally gets to play more than 4th line minutes and do well at it. He's been playing 100x better than Kassian has. I really hope they give Kassian some first line minutes in Utica. He's not at all useful if he's not playing in the top 9 here. First line minutes in the AHL will be good for him.

Beauty save by Lack. He deserves to get more starts. Luongo has been pretty good, but he can be better. I hope Lack starts tommorow.

Yes. You're also not allowed to have an opinion different than his or he gets pissy and throws out insults. He's just a child who's too caught in fantasy land from the 2011 run and hasn't experienced the mediocrity this team has gone through.
