Yeah I didn't mention him because the discussion was regarding big defenders who skate well. Cleveland's skating looks ok but pretty meh. That said, from everything I've seen, he's the meanest, toughest, hardest-hitting defenseman in this draft.
Thoughts on Quentin Musty ?

Looking at Tankathon, they have ASP at #13, Reinbacher at #14, Wood at #15 and Honzek at #24.
Benson is ranked #6 and Cristall is ranked #9.
I guess everyone has their own list.
I've even seen Cristall fall to the 2nd round LOL

Not even bothered or surprised. We’ll make playoffs next year, and we have a good team moving forward. As the Panthers are demonstrating, if you have great goaltending and buy-in from a club, and toughness, you can rock it in the post season. We just need to get tougher.
They won the presidents trophy last year. Cant compare

Winning Numbers: 4 5 9 13
Canucks owned: 4 5 9 12
Based on those numbers, had a 1/5 chance of landing it 4 5 9 12, since they rolled 4 5 9. Hopefully im correct xD. May be wrong

Bettman's worst nightmare
Just goes to show, tanking works if it happens. Or if EDM reaches the final, tanking for a generational talent works. Smh aqua

I kind of want McDavid to cement his historical legacy with more playoff success, so I'd prefer the Oilers to win. That said, the Knights have absurd depth including amazing defensive forwards in Stephenson and Stone as well as one of the top defensive D in the NHL with Pietrangelo, so that could be the undoing of the Oilers.
If we see Toronto vs EDM in the finals, it proves TANKING works

I think Yzerman saw the schedule and realized it wasnt happening this year for his team. Proactive GM's are much better than reactionary ones especially the patient ones like Stevie Y
Meanwhile every year the canucks try to get the 8th spot in playoffs only to lose in R1

There are probably 15 players who deserve to be in the Top 10. It's really too bad VAN traded away picks. I love that they have another Top 4 D (Hronek), but this is a strong draft. Envious of DET who have 5 picks in the first two rounds. Damn, they're going to be good again one day.
Its good when you have a wise GM who knows when it is a good idea to tank on purpose. DET were near the playoffs iirc and just blew it up.

I would rather win the jackpot for Lotto max myself

No, never. When I was a canucks fans, I hoped no canadian teams would win the cup before the canucks.

If Bedard does go to the Ducks you (as a Dick’s fan) can count on Zegras being put on waivers. Bedard will refuse to play with a selfish loser.
Im surprised u didnt say Bedard will pull a Lindros and demand a trade to the canucks

94-97% chance of NOT drafting Bedard doesn’t really matter boys and girls in the grand scheme of things
I rather pick 8th than 11th . Similar to how we ended up with podkolzin instead of Zegras

We’ll probably pick around 13-15 next year too. This team is a great example and lesson on how to stay stuck in the mud for years. What a bunch of friggin scumbags. I seriously hate this team. Big 2 points dirtbags

Right where they feel comfortable, near the middle. It’s what being a Canuck is about.

If everything goes right. No guarantees.
That team is gonna be the Oilers and Sabres early years rebuild.
Patience is a virtue. I rather suffer as an oilers/sabres fan compared to being a calgary flames fan. Team disappoints every year, more than the canucks

Couldve lost out the last 2 games to pick 8thh but noooo. They really wanna pick 11th

LMAO. If packaging 11th + Pod gets you michkov you do it. If I was another team, I would be asking for 11th, Pod, AND the 2024 1st round pick unprotected to move up to say 7th overall. ** assuming michkov is still there
