I live in Abby and know some of Jakes friends and so does my buddy and apparently he is in Abbotsford his hometown, iunno if that was a quick stop but I doubt he would come randomly unless they play the Giants, take it for what its worth, just what I heard. I hope its not true though.

Here is a video you guys might like, its a single game highlight package of a recent game showing most of Virtanens shifts, its a great example of his speed and skill and how he can look downright dominating at times, he also scored 2 goals that night, but its his speed and skill that really stand out in this video, enjoy!

Looking like Jake is on pace to put up about similiar numbers to Getzlaf in the WHL, Virtanen looks to be the better goal scorer out of the 2, whereas Getzlaf is more a playmaking player. Pretty stoked, Im from Abby aswell and a bunch of my friends know him personally pretty cool, Virtanen I mean lol.

He went as projected at 6th overall, which shows that ALOT of scouts liked what they see and envision him as being worthy of that 6th overall status, I think he will be great.

New regime I dont think they care, Benning was in Boston when they had high numbers, and Virtanen was wearing 77 in training camp, whether he chose it idk, its a cool number though. 18 suits him tho
