its probably the way they play. Virt likes to have the puck and be the playmaker, Mcdavid's game is more about passing and using linemates. Virt is the 3rd youngest of the team, that's probably why he's on the 4th line for most of games to figure it out, I know he's 6th pick and should be higher that other guys but he's game is just different and wasted at top 6 when he can be more useful at bottom 6, and that's not making him to succeed, its making the team to succeed

He can be better, I don't think he can be a shooter if he himself makes the play. If he is the playmaker he might not have goals as much but more assists. But the thing is hes more dangerous if he can pass when the other guy has a better chance. I think we need a pure goal scorer with him. Like kesler before 2011

Oh men, I do not know, but all this things said about virt, how physical he is, how a much better or safer or faster a pick he is than ehlers or nylander. It is somehow over exajurating that it sounded as if you are saying this things to yourself- to convince your own ears that yes he is a better pick, your way of leaving peace in your mind. Though if you ask me Skill creates chances, A shooter is more of the accuracy or killer instinct.
