Wow. Pod all of the sudden putting up the numbers. I've been skeptical of the kid since we drafted him, but I'd love to be proven wrong.
For those watching the games, would you say there's been any sort of tangible difference in his game, or is it more a case of just not being snakebitten any more + more ice time?
I don’t watch their games but I do look at the stat sheets closely every game; Podz’s production, I would say, correlates with having new line-mates in Marchenko and Morozov (and of course more ice time).

10:36 in what, his 2nd game? Seems, to me he's already earning more than 1 minute.
40~ seconds in his first and third game

Please send him to VHL or MHL if he’s going to play 1 minute a game.

Seems to be starting in the KHL. Haven’t played much (41 seconds) throughout 2 periods.

Is Podkolzin starting in the MHL?

Pronman says Hoglander has the best hands in the draft, I find that quite interesting given there are guys like Jack Hughes and Kirby Dach with excellent hands.
Looks a bit like Viktor Arvidsson stylistically and physically. Here’s to hoping he does one more year in the SHL and then head over to Utica.

Why are we pretending we don’t have to pay up to get a relatively young top-six guy? He’s big, produces 50ish points and good on the PP. I think it is a fair trade.

Why are people upset? Good trade.

Hoping we take Brett Leason, he can go straight to Utica.

Hope Pod can play like Tkachuks, would complement Pettey or Bo so well.

The pick is BPA, but I never thought we would take Podkolzin, the idea of Zegras, Boldy or Krebs got stuck in my head all year long

Krebs. My choice is Krebs.
Great player on a bad team, excellent analytics, character guy with high end skill.
He was my guy all year long, until he had that achilles injury

Fully prepared for the Broberg or Söderström disappointment
Hope we get Boldy, Zegras or Krebs

Still on the Boldy hype train, really hope he stays there at 10

I would just add Zegras.
we should get one of Zegras, Krebs, Boldy, Soderstrom
id be happy with any of them tbh.
lets just hope whoever we pick turns out better than who Chicago picks at 3.
that would be a big win!
Yes, I would hope Zegras is available too.

So it is pretty much guaranteed one of Boldy, Krebs or Soderstrom is available at 10 not the end of the world to be honest. Picks 3-12 are very close and might even be interchangeable (Turcotte and Byram might have an edge).

Boldy please

Really don’t think this is a bad trade, Conor is a nice piece.
