Just watched the new Rowling saga Fantastic Beasts and where to find them. Not bad at all, a little nostalgic as it reminds you of Harry Potter but it's nicely done to get a new series going. 8/10

No, but only because it will conflict with his school schedule.

This really isn't starting to look good.....maybe Demko feels he is NHL ready and unless Miller/Markstrom are shipped off, he's not going to Utica?
I'd trade both goalies to give Demko a spot - he's that good (or will be in a couple years)....
Are you crazy! As good as we all think he will be, it would be in his best self interest to use a bit more seasoning anyways. He'll be better for it. Look how Markstroms career has gone. He is looking more and more like the goalie he was drafted to be but it took him a lot longer. Goalies need time to work on their game and it comes from playing a lot in order to fine tune their game.
Thatcher looks like a loyal kid & he's shown to be a very competitive individual. Maybe he's so pissed with how the season ended that he wants another crack at it. Either way he needs time to make that decision. I know how the whole situation can seem a bit off and strange but it's really not. Watch from the 3:15 mark.
We will have one more year of great goal tending between Miller and Markstrom, so at least our young guys get a chance to compete and get better if he decides to go back for another try. But I'm sure there will be a deal in place and. Maybe by the trade deadline Miller will be a sexy trade bait and get traded if Thatchers ready.

This isn't the 1st time that we're seeing this guy. From 1:25-1:40 is Gaunce pushing the behemoth up the Grouse grind and willing him to the top. It was cool to hear that they stayed in touch since development camp.
Watching these videos in 2016 really puts things in perspective. A lot of these guys have played for the nucks now.. But back then we would only dream about today. Let's all be great full that so many of our guys are looking good today.
ps. Anyone else notice TROY STETCHER at the beginning of the vid? I'd be so happy if we land him.. So happy

Video highlights from the last game (it is on bottom of the page, close commercial first, in Russian) http://video.khl.ru/quotes/353199?locale=ru
00:15 - 00:22 - Tryamkin in front of the Magnitka's net
01:12 - Tryamkin's defensive work
01:26 - 01:38 - prevented goal into open net
02:20 - prevented breakaway
03:26 - prevented EN goal
03:36 - EN goal, just left the bench
Wow that was quite a highlight package. Love his compete and determination. Reacts well to plays and looks good doing it, can't wait to have him over next season.

The worst possible thing they can do this season is sending him back to JR. He needs to develop all the great things the org likes about his game. They lose all control over his development in this critical time to the Hitmen and his bad habits will be reinforced. Keeping him in Van, giving him all their resources with the understanding that there's a very real chance he spends next year in Utica is the best possible scenario for him. He has all the tools to be an impact player in the league of the develop him right.
The bottom line is Jake needs to play to learn and get better and feel good about himself. If that's on the Canucks roster great and if it's in the jrs then so be it.
This is guy shouldn't be sitting out games at this stage of his development, plain and simple. That's how you destroy raw talent, by benching or healthy scratching them. Practice time and coaching help but he's gotta be given ample opportunity to figure it out against real competition.
I hope he turns out to be the player we all want him to be but it's reasonable to think it could go either way.

Week to week. Closest out of all our injured players to return sometime during the upcoming road trip, based on WDs comments. Hansen next, then Rodin and Edler.
