Ben Hutton played the most minutes in the team today 23:14. His previous TOI record was 22:15 at NYR last month.

He was a beauty out there, handled the extra responsibility like a professional. He's a keeper for us moving forward.

man The Weeknd is truly such a talented singer, closest thing to MJ I've heard.  This has such a awesome old 80's vibe to it and the video fits that.

     Love it!

Have you heard "D.D", which is basically a cover of Dirty Diana, with a different instrumental? He sounds pretty damn to similar to MJ. Not surprising, I believe he said he was a big fan in some interview.

Where is Van's big C coming from in the future? Horvat has size but is he a 1C, to early to tell. The way Gaunce is being developed in Utica is encouraging as he will have a balanced approach which should make his transition to the NHL easier. I envisioned Gaunce pushing for 3C at some point.

Draft priorities for Van is a 1D and 1C. With movement of vets there is a chance that Benning will have 2 first round picks.

I predict Bo's ultimate spot will be franchise 2nd line center, assistant captain. If he can do the same things Kesler did during his time, that will help the team's future a lot.

Sooner or later the Canucks will be drafting very high, so hopefully there's great superstar centers and defencemen in those drafts. Guys like Gaunce will be important depth players.

Overall, I'm pretty optimistic about this franchise post-Sedin era. Fingers crossed.

Played center this weekend between Shinkaruk and Zalewski and looked really good. That Gaunce and Zalewski tandem is excellent. They're the 1st unit PK forwards and were the 1st pairing out on the 3on3 OT.

It really makes me wonder if he's being playing hurt for a while or if he just responds well to playing center. Either way he's making a case to be the 1st call up if a spot opens up in the bottom 6.

Not surprising, he was very close to making the main team during preseason. Looking back, it's curious that they picked McCann over Gaunce.

Not his fault most guys' heads are at his shoulder level.

Exactly! Chara has no problem hitting guys in the head around here, Tryamkin will fit in nicely.

Ya that's true. Now I feel like a douche. Lol

This is all silly celebrity gossip anyways. All work and no hockey make me a dull boy...I can't believe Canucks don't play until Thursday. Does the NHL enjoy torturing Canucks fans that much???

    Is this true? That's boss

It's just rumors at this point. Apparently he uploaded a picture of him and her in Disneyland, but he deleted it later.

Lol. Don't set the bar very high do you

Well, beauty is subjective. Besides, looks are not the only reason I consider her a catch. I expect that she's gonna be gonna be a big name Hollywood star in the near future, if she isn't already there. Judging from interviews and stuff, she seems like a really nice and interesting girl. Of course, those impressions can be misleading, but that's all we can go with.

Yea, I've heard that he sort of declined. I've listened to the first 3 albums so far. The first 2 (Man on the moon, i think?) are really good, I love them. The 3rd one not so much.

In my opinion, that's about where your Kid Cudi experience should end, so you can leave with positive memories of him. Of course, you can check out the newer stuff if you want to see how bad things can get. Everything that was enjoyable about Man on the Moon, is completely the opposite in his latest album. That's all I can say.

Please stay away from his latest album, "Speeding Bullet to Heaven", or his recent work in general. You'll get a negative perception of him.

His early work was the best. Once Cudi stopped working with Kanye, things took a disturbing and disappointing turn.

    but.....he has corny jokes.

As his wrestling persona, yeah. But I'm assuming he's intentionally doing it at this point, because that's how the Rock has always been.

I've watched a bunch of stuff involving Dwayne Johnson (including his new show "Ballers"), and I think he's a pretty good comedian in his own right.

    - As seen on Monday's WWE RAW during The Rock's return segment, fans dressed as WWE Legends Hulk Hogan, The Undertaker, Randy Savage and Rock were shown at ringside.

Before Rock's segment, the fan dressed as Savage was doing various Macho Man mannerisms and this is why fans were chanting "Randy Savage" during the show. WWE officials backstage did not like the chants and after the Kane vs. Bray Wyatt match, security was sent to tell the fans to calm it down. According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the fans were taken out at one point but let back in and told to calm down, which they did.

Then while The Rock was cutting a promo, he saw the fans at ringside and went to speak to them on camera. According to The Observer, people backstage were "freaking" because they were already mad at those fans for distracting the crowd, and now they were getting TV time. The feeling was that if anyone else besides John Cena would have done the same thing, they would have been fired, but Rock can pretty much do what he wants and go off-scrip

    Go Rock!

The Rock is a legend, enough said. I've never met him in person, but based on what I see on camera and other people's opinions of him, he's really one of the kindest guys you could ever meet. He just enjoys life, and makes others around him happy.

I worry about other distractions, such as the female persuasion. From what I've heard on social media, he's quite the handsome fellow, and he's a hockey player. That's double trouble.

When I wrote this, I wasn't expecting him to reel in girls like Chloe Grace Moretz, not this early in his life/career. I've underestimated his abilities.

I wonder if McCann is in Utica next season too?  Or is the marketing of these young players on the big club too important to the bottom line?

It all depends on how many players are ahead of them on the depth charts. McCann has a lot of competition right now, so I can see him being sent down for some time next year.

Jake does not have that problem right now. He already stole Prust's job. We'll see how much Benning spends on that RW position, because Prust and Vrbata are not staying here.

He's not retiring until his contract runs out, which is June of 2017.  We are on the hook with this guy for another season.  Best just buy him out.  And buy out Burrows too.  Make Cap room for ?

Burrows is not that bad yet, even though the scoring droughts are worrying. He's finding his legs again playing with Vey and Etem.

Burrows has a very close relationship with this franchise and the fan base. A fan favourite, in other words. He will be the last veteran to leave, if he doesn't retire here.
