Those are just some of the good prospects. I’m really high on Bains.
I liked him in the AHL Playoffs last season, he was pleasant surprise. Hopefully he gets one or two games with the big club next season

Oh great!! Now Hughes is gonna demand $10M+ and I doubt Petey will stay for $10M+... Risky long term deals are gonna hurt the entire league eventually when there's so much uncertainty with global economy!!!
in 2027 if he stays

not really- he was already not counting, at least on Cap Friendly.
Having Pearson healthy and playing will be an issue, though
Mikhayev might not be ready to go

People need to consider that Aquilini just might not be one of the developers in the back pockets of our politicians.
We all know how long it takes for anything to get developed in Vancouver. Unless of course you know the right people…
My guess is there will be a long back and forth of who pays for what if it ever gets decided. We’re probably 10 years from getting this team a practice facility.
No those guys are connected. They have mega projects going in every major city across Canada. Even on native reserves.

Hot seat and warm seat are fine. but cold seat is Demko over Hughes.

One Injury to one of our Main players and its game over. If we stay healthy then its another story

Don’t these cultures kiss each other on the lips a lot, even the men? Maybe what’s gross to us is kind of normal there?

Yes exactly so he's committed to cash, not the leafs.
All the toronto media immediately rave about what a great deal this is. It might be a fair deal by the numbers, but the 4 yr term can't be possibly be a good thing for leafs. I guess they're just happy that he resigned and worry later.
Ok but if you look at Vegas and their history. being loyal isn't worth it. everybody needs to put themselves first. Management and Players

I guess just not the cap going up but Tavares contract expires around that time. Meaning if Leafs want to extend Matthews, his camp will ask for something like 8 years for 18 million
tavares contract expires after next season. 3 years before matthews is ufa

Hughes next captain has been confirmed
He already said he's not down with rebuild last year
-
we make it as a wildcard, if we make it at all.
-
We traded our Captain already to get depth. the team is going to need to perform this year otherwise major surgery continues.

I bet it will be Houston. But then Coyotes owners really don't seem to make much business sense.
looks like Salt Lake right now

Future looking very bleak for Washington.
At least, they got their Cup, though.
They got a Cup and They're gunna have an 900 goal scorer exclusive to their Franchise. That's good publicity, doing a long rebuild after is worth it for them

seven or eight. don't have enough depth if injuries hit

There’s no reason to think he won’t be as good or better over the next 4 seasons, so this could actually end up being a steal and his next contract could end up really costing the Kraken, but the cap should go up by a lot by then.
Not sure how much the cap is going to keep going up. The American TV deal wasn't anywhere near what they expected. The canadian TV deal, Rogers already said they took a loss on it and won't be going for the complete coverage again.

There's this thing called designated drivers. Have a group of friends and alternate who takes everyone home. There was this thing called Taxi's long before Uber.
It takes a few minutes of planning and everyone gets home safe. The life you save (and vehicle) might be your own. Let alone injuring or killing others or causing damage to others.
Taxis say no to service if they don't think They're going to get a customer on return.

Are you saying it's ok to drink and drive? I go to the Milltown Pub in South Van. I tip well. If I'm driving I don't drink. If I walk down, then I can drink.
Would you rather "kill" a scene, or see people getting killed by impaired driving? Last thing I want to hear is a kid crossing a street in Delta getting smoked by a drunk driver.
Vancouver has transit, you can get Uber at a press of button, you get billions of dollars every other year for another transit project and don't really need to own a vehicle if you live in that city . In the Valley we got one Transit investment after 30 years for the same amount of population, you can't do anything without a car . We don't even have Bus service that goes through our entire cities.

My only concern with this how it'll effect small businesses. Because Delta police department killed the restaurant scene in Delta. If there's police just waiting outside restaurants looking for anyone to give a ticket to, customers are going to stop coming to that area and spend less there.
