He is a streaky scorer and doesn't use his wingers.
His defensive game has always been overrated.
He is great on faceoffs but he could be such a more effective player if he played with more if aj edge and threw his weight around.

Agreed. Everyone was all over Jake cause he wouldn’t hit enough. Bo throws a hit every 5 games. Why would the rest of the team play physical when their captain doesn’t?

This coaching staff is sooooo bad. How long is it going to take for them to realize they can’t play Pettersson and Boeser together 5 on 5? They’re both weak skaters and are some of the softest players in the league. I would love playing against their line. I bet the Lotto line is reunited halfway through the game. Why is Boeser not playing with Horvat? They looked awesome together when Boeser first got here.

I have a hard time with Petey. It’s one thing to look as bad as he does, but to look that bad after saying he wants to play for a winner and spending all his time gaming and trying to look good for his Instagram while he’s gotten slower and weaker is a joke. He had a wrist injury last season, no excuse for him not getting stronger and faster. And all the people saying he’s depressed… I wish I could do $&!# all at my job while I’m depressed and make millions.

Why do people keep bringing up the bubble. Half the teams didnt give a &^@# and didn’t even want to be there. If Demko didn’t play like he did we would have been blown out every game. Green is not a good coach, he can’t adapt or do anything on the fly and finally people are seeing how garbage our systems are which I’ve been saying for years. We’ve never been good 5 on 5 with Green. Our core is the softest in the league. When’s then last time you saw Boeser, Petey or Hughes throw a decent hit? Horvat is lame as a captain. Hank was more gritty than him.

Yup, hard to win when your stars and #1 d-man are soft af. Even Horvat is pretty soft, could throw the body around a lot more, he’s a big dude. Remember how gritty and aggressive Garland and OEL were the first few games? What happened to that? Happens to all the players when they come here. Lose their grittiness and creativity.

Why is the lotto line still together? They suck. Move Petey down, not sure why he’s going against top players when he’s playing beer league level and killing every play.
